nobody's going to read this, because i know from experience that when i finish a fanfiction i never fucking bother to read the end note. like who has time for that shit???but i felt it would be inappropriate to just leave the book completely after publishing the epilogue. i felt like i needed closure, needed to thank everyone whose been a part of the making of this book. so to the probably two people reading this, thank you.
i'm also aware that there are a lot - and i mean lot - of ghost readers, of lurkers. i mean, out of every twenty viewers, two of them comment- and somehow i still get thirty to seventy comments per chapter. so that means a lot of you refrain from commenting for whatever reason.
so, if you're one of those people, hi! i might not have interacted with you much like the people who usually comment, but you mean just as much to me as any of them and i really hope you enjoyed. <3
i don't want to be too sincere and soppy, but i started this fic because i liked the idea of mark bullying jack. that was it, three words, Mark bullies Jack.
when that popped up in my head, off i went to make a draft on my new account that had four, maybe five followers (a mix of my irl friends 'follow back' accounts). i titled it 'Bully', jumped into cold water and wrote the first chapter which i made all of my hoes at school read. if they said they didn't like it, i'd make them say it was good anyways, because i wanted to hear the words.
i wrote three to five chapters of bully, then altogether stopped writing it for a matter of months. until i got a notification that someone had commented on it; at last! my first reader!
the feedback was positive, so i wrote the next few chapters, inspired by the idea that someone was reading and enjoying what they'd read. a few more people slowly climbed into the book, week after week, v-e-r-y slowly. the more people who'd read, the more i wrote.
meanwhile, the views were gradually picking up in the hundreds. nothing crazy- that is, until i hit chapter thirteen. i woke up one day, and boom, i had one thousand views. i was awestruck.
after that, the thousands kept piling in, and i thought even five thousand was extraordinary. look where we are now- nearly fifty thousand views! holy shitt.
thank you so much for taking an interest in my fanfiction. i probably sound like an over dramatic, batty author who thinks she's so much better than everyone because she has like 50K views, and that's not what i'm trying to put out, but you have to admit, it's kind of a big deal.
i'm not the big deal- ha- you guys are. you took an interest, commented, voted, read, or just quietly lurked and everyone reading this no matter their opinions on the book has helped so much.
i genuinely hope you enjoyed bully, because i know i did. and although i'm slipping out of the septiplier phase of my life, i'm not any less proud of what we've created here. it's not just me who wrote the book; you did, too. you inspired me to push through.
so thank you so much for showing interest in my fic.
