Alesia's POV
First day of school, this is what I hate the most. Not only is it about you going back to prison but also having to cope up with other people, new people. I found my way to my first class and entered quietly.
"Oh, here we are. So this is, Alesia McVey she is the new girl I'm talking about and she will be sitting next to... there" She pointed to a guy who had his dark fluffy hair all messed up and his eyebrows furrowed with dark brown eyes staring at me as if trying to recognize me.
Calum's POV
There stood the new girl that our teacher has been babbling about. Be nice to her, let her feel welcomed blah blah blah and all that shit. She looked familiar, to familiar for my liking. And then it popped out of my head,
She was the girl from yesterday. Ya know the one who spilled hot coffee on me. 'Twas her.
"Hi" she mumbled when she came to a stop and sitting beside me. I gave her a nod and realized she didn't recognize me.
"Am I late?" She asked
"Not really, it doesn't matter" I shrugged it off. I was in the middle of copying lectures I didn't really read nor used but i don't care.
"Oh! So how's your chest?" She asked with her full green eyes staring at my brown one's with a huge smile on her face.
"Fine, doesn't matter" I shrugged and looked back down to my paper to jot down notes.
"Ok" she mumbled.
She was with me in every class so that meant she hasn't talked to anyone else but me and I haven't talked to anyone but her, I didn't have any friends remember?
"Uh, can I sit here?" She looked down at me while taking a seat across the table from me. I nodded at her and ate my lunch. Which was just plain salad.
"That's your lunch?" She asked pointing at my food.
"Yeah"
"You won't get hungry?" She furrowed her eyebrows and stared at me.
"Nah, doesn't matter" I shook my head and poked my food with my fork.
"Ugh! Everything doesn't matter to you" She crossed her hands over her chest and rolled her eyes.
"Because I don't give a fuck about anything" I threw my hands up in the air, I was so done with all her questioning.
"You know being harsh won't let me avoid you...." She stopped and thought for a moment
"Calum" I rolled my eyes
"Yes, Calum." She said and nodded to herself
"Whatever" I got up, slung my backpack on my shoulder and headed off to my next class. Earlier than usual. "You are so unfair" I heard a girl's voice behind me.
"What the- why?" I managed to say
"Hey now, don't call me stalker we literally share the same class idiot" She rolled her eyes and got in the room. All I did was stare at her: am i really gonna spent a whole year with this pig?
-
"Hey Calum! Where ya going?" A voice called after me. I pretended to not hear her. When I said I avoided people, and mostly girls. I did mean it. So I'm doing it to her.
"Calum wait!" ignored.
"Hey!" ignored.
"Calum! stop!" ignored again.
"Please Calum!" and again.
"Why are you making it so hard? I'm fucking tired" she managed to say, out of breath.
I finally gave up, knowing she won't stop running after me. I turned around to see her face to face. She was only inches away from me and it was obvious that she was startled too. Her green eyes stared at me and all I could do was stare back. I took a step back and she did too. It was too awkward for us both.
"What?" I mumbled
"Where the hell are you going?" She panted then put her hand on her waist.
"To a friends" I rolled my eyes, I knew that if I told her I'd be going home she'll just come and keep annoying me. But I wasn't lying when I said I was going to a friends, I was supposed to have band practices today. Well, I did have friends but just 3: Luke, Michael and Ashton.
"Oh" finally "why?" She smiled. Fuck it, I don't even think she runs out of questions.
"Ugh" I groaned and waved my hands, I felt like jelly and was all wiggly. "Band practice, any more questions?" I raised my eyebrows.
She shook her head.
I didn't hear footsteps nor any walking sounds so I looked back at her. She was standing there staring at my fading figure. "What?" I called back at her.
"I don't know my way back home!" She answered while shrugging her shoulders.
Do I really need to?
I suddenly found myself walking her back home. She told me her mom brought her to school and she didn't know how to go back. She told me where she lived and lucky her I knew where it was.
"Hey Calum thanks" She smiled when we reached her apartment.
"Its fine" I shook my head and turned around to leave.
"Bye" I heard her mumble. I pretended not to hear her and continued walking. The door shut quietly and I glanced back to it.
"Bye" I literally talked either to myself or the door.
Emotional Calum.
I suddenly remembered Michael being hisself, so emo and shit like that. Michael, Michael, wait- I'm late for practice. Shit. Shit. Shit.
I ran and took the subway to Michael's place. We came to a stop and I swam a pool of people on my direction. That was fucking breath taking. I panted and barged in his house.
"Look who finally came to show up" Luke smirked and patted me on the back.
"Do you want water or anything? You look... So.. So... uh, calum" Ashton said while chuckling.
I shrugged and shook my head walking towards the kitchen. I opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water then gulped on it.
"What the hell have you been doing?" Michael raised his eyebrows.
"Long story." I sighed and collapsed on their couch stretching my feet and putting them over Luke's. He was sitting straight so I took the opportunity to invade the whole couch.

Why the hell am I smirking?
Well, I hope you don't remove this story on your library/reading lists. I'm so sorry for the long wait because I have school and I just can't do them both at the same time. I'm so sorry. Well, until I update again! Thank you so much.
