Jasey's POV

I stared at her in complete disbelief. "What?" I gasped.

"My name is Jasey Camille Riddell." She introduced herself. "Who are you?" She demanded.

"I already told you, I am Jasey Riddell." I said adamantly.

She shook her head. "Well then one of us is an impostor. Who do you work for? How did you find this place?" She immediately began questioning me. "You work for Love? Don't you?" she pulled a freaking shotgun out from behind her.

I shook my head, shooting my hands up in surrender. "Who's Love?" I dared to ask.

She lowered her weapon warily. "Courtney Love? The psychotic bitch who kidnapped me, trapped me in this hellhole, and unleashed a monster that murdered my best friend. Any of that ringing a bell 'Jasey'?" I felt the venom in her voice.

One bit of what she said threw up billions of red lights in my mind. "Murder?" I repeated. "My friends and I were just investigating one that happened a few days ago." I explained, mentally hoping Pete or Patrick were nearby to get me away from this crazy person.

She cocked an eyebrow. "What?"

I nodded my head. "Yea, Andy. I didn't know him really well, but he found dead here last week."

A worried look spread across her face. "Was he about this tall, dark brown slicked hair, completely covered in tattoos, looks really tough and could probably kill you but in reality is the sweetest thing to walk the earth?" She described Andy perfectly.

I nodded rapidly and she placed the shotgun on the ground. "What are you doing here?" She asked again very calmly.

"I'm here with my friends Pete and Patrick. We're trying to investigate Andy's death. My fiancé, Luke, is on the investigation." I explained.

She raised an eyebrow. "Luke Kiddley?"

"Yep." I answered matter-of-factly. Her eyes widened to the size of moons and she grasped my wrist tightly.

"We have to get out of here." She gasped. Suddenly, I heard the echo of footsteps outside the door. In the window, a pair of evil yellow eyes glowed through the glass. "Oh god." Her voice shook.

The door swung open with a loud *BANG*! Redhead screamed. But before I could see who it was, there was a blinding white light. I couldn't see anything, just white. The other me was gone. What was happening? Where are Pete and Patrick?

The light died down to reveal that I was no longer in the office, or even in the warehouse for that matter. I was in a beautiful master bedroom, like something that belonged in a mansion. I was laying on an enormous oak framed bed covered in a sea of blankets. Sunlight poured through the open windows, letting the music of chirping birds fill the air. I yanked the covers off me to reveal that I was no longer in my jeans and hoodie.

I wore a stunning snow-white, strapless ball gown with silvery gems and diamonds tracing the low neckline of the dress. A baby blue ribbon was tied in a bow around my waist. I gasped as I realized that this was my wedding dress. Looking in the full length mirror across from me, I saw that my hair fell in blonde ringlets around my shoulders, my makeup was perfect, and a small diamond necklace laid on my collar. I looked like a princess.

"Hello?" I called out, there was no answer. I climbed out of the bed with some difficulty in my dress. I slowly walked out into the hallway, which was decorated just as beautiful as the bedroom. Large vases of flowers were propped on marble pedestals, the windows were covered by intricately stitched curtains, and the sound of piano music filled the air. It felt almost like a fairy tale.

I made my way down the enormous spiral staircase, following the music. The stairs led to a large room made of stunning white marble walls and columns. Natural sunlight flooded the room. In the center was a gigantic white grand piano with two men by it. One was playing the piano, so I couldn't see who it was, just his white suit. The other man stood on the other end of the piano in a black tux with a pressed white shirt and a black tie. His hair stood out in a large brown fro around his head. He looked up and saw me, making his sparkling blue eyes light up with hope.

"Jasey." He gasped, he sounded relieved to see me.

"Who are you?" I asked. "Where am I?"

"I'm a friend. You're in a safe place now." He began walking towards me.

Suddenly, the clicking of another pair of heels filled the room. I spun around to find the redhead from the warehouse walking towards us. She had also changed out of her bloody clothes and scrubbed off the blood and grime that covered her when I first saw her. She now wore a sleek black mermaid-style dress that flowed out at her ankles. Her makeup was fierce and stunning and her hair was styled into a spiky pixie-cut. She wore a necklace similar to mine, but hers contained a ruby instead a diamond like mine.

"Joe." She gasped, breaking into a run and nearly tackling the guy.

"Jace," He laughed, hugging her back. "It's great to see you too."

"What's going on?" She asked, "Where are we?"

"Somewhere safe. It's like Death Valley, but the lighter side of it." Joe explained.

'What is Death Valley?' I wondered as he led us over to the piano. He tapped the man playing it on the shoulder.

"Sir, they're here." He said.

The man turned around to greet us. He was older than Joe. "Welcome Jacinda." He grinned.

The redhead bowed. "Nice to see you too Elton. What is going on here? Where are we?" She asked.

Elton took a deep breath. "There's a lot I'm going to have to explain to you two."
