Iris is slowly getting better, and it's really starting to show.
Louise had uploaded the video she made with Iris a few days after leaving their flat. The majority of Louise's fans took quite a liking to her; encouraging Iris to make a YouTube account of her own. And after encouragement from Dan and Phil, that's just what she did.
With help from Dan, she opened her own YouTube channel and uploaded her first video: Ironic Introduction. Phil wasn't very impressed with the name, but Dan thought it was genius.
The video was quite awkward to film -especially considering how cautious she had to be of her surroundings; making sure it didn't give away any hint that she is living with Dan and Phil. She loved the editing process, though. Dan walked her through everything, and by the end of the day, she knew exactly what she was doing.
Her channel already has a couple thousand subscribers - considering both Louise and Zoe have given her a shout-out - and she even opened a Twitter account after seeing endless comments begging her to.
As Phil predicted, Iris' self-esteem has gone up a little from the compliments she's receiving. It confuses Iris quite a lot - considering she's never seen herself that way. However, the two men have made sure that no mean remarks get to her fragile heart. As time goes on, she will hopefully begin to see herself the way those around her do.
Without Louise, Zoe, and Darcy here; the week has gone by boring and slowly. Dan and Phil aren't the most entertaining parents, and considering Iris was on her period all week, they never left their flat. However, Louise, Zoe, and little Darcy have decided to come over earlier -on Saturday- to see Iris. They should be arriving at the flat with Phil any minute now.
In the mean time, while they're waiting for Phil to arrive with Zoe and Louise, Dan is trying to teach Iris how to use the controls on GTA5. Just as she's got the hang of it, though, the door bursts open and a loud chorus of voices can be heard from down the hall.
"Iris!" Darcy shouts excitedly, clearly happy to see her.
"Hi Darcy!" She replies sweetly, giving a hesitant wave. She's always quite shy at first, no matter who the person.
"Dan, Phil, can we steal her for a video?" Zoe pouts, proposing the question to the young men. "Pleeeeeeeease?"
"Well, that's up to Iris," Dan says, turning his attention towards his daughter. "What do you say?"
"Sure," Iris says, shrugging like it's no big deal.
Zoe and Louise share excited cheers, causing Darcy to join in on the clapping and jumping, before taking Iris away to prepare her for the video.
"They've really taken a liking to her," Phil points out, after the girls have left. He takes a seat beside Dan, snuggling next to him on the sofa.
"How could they not?" Dan asks with a light chuckle, wrapping his arm around Phil. "She's really nice to have around, even if we're doing absolutely nothing. I guess I just enjoy her presence."
"What about me?!" Phil jokingly whines in a high-pitched voice.
"Oh, you already know I love you!" Dan replies, before placing his finger under Phil's chin, lifting his head and placing a soft kiss on his lips. The man kisses him back, holding his face in his hands so it can last longer.
"I love you, too." Phil mumbles against Dan's lips, as the kiss becomes more urgent.
Iris happily makes her way back down the hall, looking to ask Dan and Phil for their opinion on her new appearance. Louise had done Iris' makeup, while Zoe had chosen an outfit and did her hair, for her.
