Clarke's POV

"That wasn't fair, Clarke," Madi said as we were walking through the burned down forest.

"You don't understand, and I don't expect you to," I reply.

"After five years of not being able to talk to him, you're going to let one thing get in the way?"

"Don't—"

"And let me just remind you that you're still walking to him," she pointed out.

"You don't get it, Madi. There's always a better way that could help everyone. Bellamy wasn't using his head—"

"Fine, I'll call him," Madi said as she stole the radio from my bag and began to run.

"I'm faster than you!" I shouted chasing after her.

I saw Madi messing around with the radio and trying to find the talk button.

"Hello? Hello?" Madi said into the radio while she was still running.

"Hello?"

Bellamy.

"Hi, my name is Madi and I've been with Clarke since the beginning. Are you Bellamy?" She asked.

Wow, she was fast.

"Uh, yeah, I'm Bellamy. Is Clarke there?" He asked.

"Yeah, but she's chasing me right now so she's a little busy at the moment," she laughed.

Finally I caught up to her and grabbed her. She began to talk really fast.

"Bellamy, she really really likes you and she's not really mad at you so please don't stop talking to her—"

I grabbed the radio from her tiny hand and began to apologize to Bellamy.

"I am so sorry, she just took off with the radio and ran—"

"You have a kid?" He asked in disbelief.

"Yeah, Bellamy. I had a kid all by myself," I sarcastically said.

"You were with someone?" He asked.

"Five years in space with Murphy and you still don't understand sarcasm? How would I even, who would I even, Bellamy: I found her. We were the only two people left on Earth," I said.

"Oh, yeah, yeah, makes sense

"Oh, yeah, yeah, makes sense."

"Were you jealous, Bellamy?" I smirked.

"No, but I'm just saying that if you were with someone I just hope you'd be comfortable leaving them because I'm obviously the better choice," he joked.

"You are.." I whispered.

"What was that?" He asked.

"Nothing. You know, it's kind of driving me insane that you're all on the ground but not with me. I have to show you all my garden—"

"Garden?!" I heard Murphy exclaim.

"Clarke Griffin..gardening!" He started laughing.

"Yeah, well when you're stuck on Earth for five years, life could get boring," I replied.

"Uh, Clarke? I'll have to call you tomorrow, nothing to worry abo—"

I heard screams and then the radio signal was cut off.

"Bellamy? Bellamy! Hey!"

I started running hoping Madi was behind me.

"If they're in danger, why are we running towards it?" She asked running by my side.

"That's what we do, Madi."
