Sunlight peaked through the curtains into Sienna's eyes. She winced and groaned softly as she turned away and pulled the dusty sheets over her face. She suddenly realized that she wasn't in her dorm. Eyes widening slowly, she turned to find Remus, tangled in the sheets next to her, his bare back rising and falling rhythmically.
She sighs and turns away, a slight pinch of guilt growing inside her stomach. Silvia can't know about this she told herself. Silvia can't know what Sienna had experienced. Their gentle touches, his breath against her neck, their hands intertwined, a rhythmic back and forth motion, an awkward silence that commences. Sleep.
It was a sort of one year anniversary type of gift that they had agreed on. Sienna didn't know that she would receive it with such guilt. They were both so young, so naive, but they trusted each other with a love beyond that of married couples.
Maybe one day, they would be married. Sienna hoped so.
There would be two children- a boy and a girl. Sienna wished to live in the country side of the Netherlands, Van Gogh style. The children would go to Hogwarts, like their parents had. Aunt Silvia would come to visit. She would laugh and embrace her joyful niece and nephew. Remus would read his children a story and kiss Sienna every night before bed, each time even more passionate than the last.
The idea was far-fetched and unrealistic, but it made Sienna feel warm and hopeful. She knew Remus felt the same way.
He rose from the old bed in the shrieking shack, suddenly looking around, started.
"I was confused to," Sienna said behind him.
Remus turned around and laughed. "For a second, I was wondering what I was doing in the shrieking shack."
"Me too." Sienna pushed an auburn hair from her eyes. They studied each other's faces for a moment before Remus picked up the Marauder's Map. Sienna scooted towards him to look at it. "May I?" she asked, raising her wand.
"Of course," replied Remus, grinning.
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." She giddily laughed as words appeared on the page. "Why do they call you Moony?"
A wave of nervousness crashed over Remus. "Moons are... great."
"Which moon is your favorite? I like Ganymede."
Remus laughed. "I see you're on the Jupiter unit in Astronomy. Well, I suppose my favorite is Callisto."
Sienna smiled and kiss him quickly. "Why's that."
"It's a beautiful name," he admitted. "I'd name my daughter that."
"Callisto Lupin," Sienna declared. "I like that. I approve. What about if you had a son?"
"Dunno. I think I'd name him after one of my friends."
She laughed loudly. "Sirius Lupin. Could you imagine?"
Remus blushed. He suddenly imagined Sirius sharing his last name. He suppressed the idea quickly and turned back to Sienna. "Or I'd name him after his mother's father."
Sienna turned away and giggled, imagining a son who shared a name with her dad.
He put an arm around her a smirked "Hey, Sienna," he began. "How would you like it if we got hitched? Maybe right after graduation? Think about it, the world is coming to an end with all of this Voldemort nonsense. We deserve to do one fun thing before we're forced into slavery by the Death Eaters."
"Remus!" Sienna pulled away. "Don't make me think of that! I'd love to get hitched, but not under those circumstances.
He pulled her back into his arms. "Don't worry, darling. Just the other day, in Divination, I saw a prediction in a crystal ball that a baby would kill Voldemort."
Sienna laughed. "A baby? That's ridiculous!"
"I know," Remus said. "That class is a complete joke. Imagine a baby pulling out a gun and shooting a dark wizard dead."
"Oh," Sienna gasped. "Look, someone's coming." She pointed quickly to the map. James Potter's footsteps were approaching.
Before either of them could move, James was standing in the doorway, jaw dropped.
"Prongs," Remus said, covering himself. "It's not what it looks like."
James smirked. "It's exactly what it looks like, my dude. You got laid."
"Go away." Sienna covered her face, embarrassed.
"I'm so proud of you, Moony. Congratulations, man."
"Don't tell anyone."
James grinned. "I'm telling everyone." He ran out of the room and screamed, "Moony's not gay!"
