Slav's POV

I was minding my own business, fixing the blanket on Lance's bed so that he doesn't die in the night when Lance walked in. He didn't even question why I was there, and in 159 alternative realities, he does.

"So, I want to ask you something," Lance stated. I cocked my head to the side. There was a 90% chance he was going to ask me-
"What are other alternative universes like? I mean, you can have a pretty good guess, right? You see that kind of stuff."

"What do you want to know in particular?" I questioned. He was about to sit on the floor when I yelped.
"Don't sit there! There is a 22% chance the ceiling will fall on your head!" I yelled. Lance scooched to the right. He sighed.

"I don't know. What's my life like in some universes?" He asked.

"Well, sometimes you piolet the black lion, sometimes the green and yellow, and sometimes even the pink lion! Although, 50% of the time, you die." I stated. Lance nodded, but I got the feeling that's not what he wanted to hear.

"Okay... what about my relationships? What are those like?" He asked. I should have known. There was a 99.9% chance he was going to ask that, but sometimes my calculations are wrong.

"Well, in some universes, everyone hates you," I said. He furrowed his eye brows.

"In some, you're the most popular kid in school! Everybody can't get enough of you! Even Keith! And speaking of Keith, sometimes you two are dating!" I pointed out. He jumped and fell on his side.

"What?" He asked. I shrugged.

"Most of the time you two are happy together. Sometimes the story is sad." I said. Lance sat up.

"But that's impossible! Keith and I could never da-" Lance started. Keith poked his head through the door that Lance left open.

"We couldn't do what now?" Keith asked. Lance's face went red.

"Nothing! Nothing at all!" Lance quickly said. Keith looked over at my direction.

"Are you telling him about other alternate universes?" He asked. I nodded. Keith smiled and ran to sit next to Lance.

"Did you tell him about the one where we're all the opposite gender? Or the one where none of this ever happened, but we're all still friends? Ooh, or the one where we've known each other since we were little and we grew up as neighbours?" Keith asked. Lance stared at him.

"You've talked to him about this stuff before?" Lance asked. Keith nodded.

"I originally came to ask him how high the chances were that me and- um..." He quickly glanced at Lance and then away. I snapped my fingers gaining the attention of both Lance and Keith.

"At the rate, this is going, at least 98%," I told Keith.

"At the rate what is going? I don't understand what's going on." Lance asked.

"Slav, you should tell Lance about some of the cooler alternate realities," Keith said.

After a few seconds of talking, Keith cut in and started telling Lance what I was going to say. Lance was listening intently and if it were possible, the two were sitting closer together than before. I slowly crept out of the room leaving the two alone.

Lance's POV

I don't know how it happened. One minute, I didn't want Keith in the room, the next, I didn't want him to leave. We talked and talked for hours upon hours. Slav had left a long while ago which was fine by me.
