Chloe's pov
I told Amanda and chief everything I went through and they were just shocked.
"Chloe I'm so sorry" Amanda said
"Don't be I feel so much more alive like I can be more confident in myself." I said
"Now that we know will you come back? I mean we won't tell anyone about it" Amanda said
"The old Chloe died Amanda my old life it's over I mean hey if you ever need like serious help you can call me my new life it's with them. It's time for me to really start my life" I said and smiled and chief hugged me.
"Your always welcome Chloe I'm gonna miss my favorite agent" he said and I started tearing up.
"You kidding chief I'm gonna miss you too." I said and he smiled and I gave Amanda a hug.
"Take care of buddy for me and if anything goes wrong with him you call me and I'll be here as fast as I can" I said and she nodded
"Bye Chloe keep in touch" she said and smiled
"I will" I said and smiled I bent down and gave buddy a kiss.
"You be good alright boy" I said and he wagged his tail and I smiled and I walked outside and got in my truck. I waved goodbye and they waved back.
I drove to my grandma's house and I walked in and I saw how empty it was and I sat down and I started to cry.
I lost my parents.
I lost my grandma.
I lost my will to love.
I lost all of my family.
I got up and walked around and reminisced on all the memories here.
*flashback*
"Its okay mija your gonna be okay" abuela said
"Abuela I want my mommy." I said
"You'll see her again one day okay clo" she said and I nodded and I held on to her.
*flash back over*
Everytime I felt down about my parents she sat me next to the fire place and rocked me till I fell asleep and as I got older I would lay on her lap and she would run her fingers through my hair and I would fall asleep.
I walked to my old room and I chuckled. I remember I was about 12 I came home one day from school and I had gotten an A on my test and I was so excited and happy to tell my grandma. I jumped on my bed and fell off and hit my head I had to get three stitches boy never did I ever jump on the bed again. Abuela was so mad at me but I laughed the whole time because I knew it was a stupid thing to do and I got three stitches for jumping on the bed. She eventually gave in and laughed with me.
"I miss you so much abuela. Te amo mucho" I said and walked out of the house and got in my truck.
I drove back to Fairbanks and got to Henry's cabin.
I got out of my truck and the scent hit me. He's here. I took a deep breath and when I saw him run out I panicked.
"Mate" he said and my wolf was going crazy. She wanted to be with him. I pushed her down. Confident Chloe confident.
I walked past him and went inside and went to my room and closed my door and locked it.
Henry's pov
"Ouch" Dan said and chuckled
"Why doesn't she want me." Austin said and I sighed.
"Boy she's been through enough don't take it personal" I said and got up
"So don't you be rushing her or I'll have your ass" I said and he gulped and I went to her room and knocked.
"It's me chloe" I said and she unlocked it and let me in.
When I sat next to her I saw she was crying so I held her.
"What is it girl" I said
"I'm scared." She said
"Oh what kiddo" I said
She told me about Oliver she told me every last part of it. The beatings. The cuts. The burns. Everything. Boy was I furious. My wolf was out for blood.
Chloe is like my pup I'm so overprotective and I care for her. Hell this girl brought out the real me again.
"I just don't want that to happen again.." She said
"Let me tell you something kiddo" I said and smiled
"Mates are forever. I gave you the talk about them. But now you really know how strong the pull is. When I first met Evie god she gave me the hardest time but it was all worth it. I loved her unconditionally and I could never lay a hand on her or hurt her. Chloe that boy out there he has every urge to run in here to mark you and make you his trust me. But you take it at the pace you want to go. He's a good kid he lost Evie and Emma too. Evie was his aunt. Him and Emma were so close like bestfriends when he lost her he went as crazy as I did. He is a soon to alpha so I can tell you right now he's stubborn." I said and she wiped her face.
"Let me guess green stone pack" she said and I nodded and she sighed and layed down.
"Just my luck." She said
