Hey guys so this chapter isn't going to be in the right order as the show. The events in the chapter actually happened before Wells revealed his true identity to everyone, but it fits into the story really well. Anyway hope you enjoy!
                          
Barry's POV.
                          
It had been a few days since Valentines Day.  Barry and the team were still working hard to try and locate Wells along with protecting the city from metas. They had found Eddie in the cortex, but there was no sign of doctor Wells. 
                          
Barry had his own personal problems though. A problem that not even the Flash could handle. Ella. She had broken up with Scott, which in any other case would have made Barry jump for joy, but this time something happened. Ella was inlove, but not with the Flash and definitely not with Barry. 
                          
Apparently she had met someone outside of work and had fallen head over heals inlove with the guy. She had kept it a secret of course, probably because she was ashamed about her feelings for him while she was dating Scott. Whoever the guy was, he apparently didn't have any feelings for her and Barry witnessed first hand at how Ella was handling it. Not very well. She was heart broken. Crushed. Ella was hurting and three was nothing Barry could do to help her. 
                          
It hurt Barry to know that she was having to go through the same thing that he was going through. He only wished that the guy would open his eyes.  It also killed Barry to know that at one time Ella had been completely inlove with him, but because he messed up the time line and made stupid decisions she would never know, nor remember. To Ella Barry was only her best friend, nothing more. 
                          
Barry had already had a hard two days. They had encountered a new meta who could shape-shift and had now gotten Eddie in trouble. He was in custody for killing a police officer. Barry had no idea how they were going to prove him innocent. Iris was frantic and Barry had Cisco and Caitlyn working on it already. 
                          
Barry had just gotten home, when he heard a knock at the door. He answered it and almost stumbled over in shock. "Eddie?!" He exclaimed. Eddie smiled at Barry widely. "Hey, Bare." He hugged Eddie and then welcomed him inside. "Well, how-how are you here? When did they let you go?" He asked. "Right after you left. They had a conference with Captain Sing and let me go. They believed you." Eddie smiled happily. 
                          
Barry laughed gleefully. "That great! I can't believe this! Have you seen Iris yet?" Barry asked. Eddie shook his head. "No. I came straight here after they let me go. I was planning on going to see her now. Wanna come with me?" Eddie asked. "Of course! Definitely! Just let me get my coat. This is great!" Barry said as he turned to grabbed his coat. Suddenly he felt a sharp pain hit the back of his head and then darkness consumed him.
                          
Ella's POV.
 
Ella was at home when she got a call from Iris explaining all that had happened to Eddie. She was shocked. Ella immediately got in her car and headed to Barry's house. She had to find out everything that had happened and also wanted to know if she could help. 
                          
When Ella arrived at the West home, she got out of her car and ran up to the door. Ella knocked on the door and waited. No answer. Ella knocked again, a little harder this time. A few long moments past and finally the door opened. Barry answered it. "Barry!" Ella exclaimed before he could even greet her. Ella hugged him tightly, but he did not hug back. She ignored it, believing he was just going through a lot. 
                          
She pulled away, as he looked her up and down, almost as if he were checking her out, but she knew it was her imagination. "Oh my gosh! Iris told me what happened! Is Eddie okay?" She asked in concern. Barry looked at her as if lost. "Uh. . .yeah." Ella raised an eyebrow at him. "You okay?" She asked. "Yeah. I-I I'm fine. Just really worried about Eddie, but now that you here. . . I know everything will be fine. We'll find a way to help him. You know. . .cuz we're. . ." Ella raised her eyebrow at him. "Best friends?" She questioned. "Yeah! Yup! That's exactly it!" He said overly happily.
