Chapter 6

                                    

                                          
"I don't think it's a good idea to talk about it here. We'll talk after the party. Also, call me Damon instead of brother ... to avoid misunderstandings."
                          
"Then you have to call me Emerald."
                          
Damon sharply turned away from waving at Fate to come over, and stared at Maya or Emerald. 
                          
"So we're really in the otome..."
                          
Maya just stared intensely into his eyes without an answer. She didn't have to. 
                          
Sage sat there quietly, not understanding what they were saying, focused on his drink. He took a sip once in a while. He knew this conversation wasn't his business. 
                          
"Sage would you like anything to eat?"
                          
Sage stared up at him in a silent agreement. 
                          
"OK, wait a second."
                          
Damon made a straight way over to the walking Fate. 
                          
"Come over here with me."
                          
Damon didn't let Fate ask anything and forcefully dragged him over to where all the food was. 
                          
"Damon! What!?"
                          
"You saw the girl I was sitting with just now right?"
                          
"Yeah."
                          
"Don't look at her, don't talk to her."
                          
"What?"
                          
"Oh yeah, happy birthday."
                          
Fate was left utterly confused while Damon walked away after getting Sage's food. Damon was way too fast paced with the questions and the answers that he couldn't keep up. He just followed after Damon. 
                          
"Here Sage."
                          
Damon's voice was lovingly towards Sage. Both Damon and Maya hasn't heard him this gentle before. He set the food gently in front of him and let his arm fall around Sage's waist once again. 
                          
Sage didn't protest against any of his actions. 
                          
Even though, Fate didn't understand Damon, he still respected his wishes. Fate just stared at Damon and Sage without glancing at Maya. 
                          
On the other hand, Maya was shamelessly staring at Fate. 
                          
Damon knew this would happen. He still remembered the worship in her voice when she talked about him when he was only a game character. 
                          
Now that he was a real life person in front of her, she will chase after him with all she's got. Fate had to watch out. 
                          
The party had a lively atmosphere, but at two of the tables it was completely different. 
                          
The first table seated two people. A girl in a plain, simple white dress. She looked sweet and innocent with her large round eyes. And seated across from her is a handsome dark haired guy. He wore expensive, but stylish clothing. 
                          
They looked like a picture. Even through they knew they were one of the best looking people, another table containing four seated figures had a light surrounding them that could blind anyone. 
                          
Those two stared with jealousy filled eyes. They were surrounded by a malicious aura. 
                          
Damon sensed something, and turned his attention away from Sage. He locked eyes with a girl wearing a white dress. 
                          
The said girl, quickly blushed and looked away. Not even a minute after,  she turned back with an shy and coy look. 
                          
She noticed that he wasn't looking at her anymore and was wiping the mouth of the boy sitting next to him.
