I Want To Find Him

                                    

                                          
(FYI there is a POV switch with Sue, I personally don't like to read these very often, but I want the reader to know this peice of information when your actual character/oc doesn't)
                          
We walk swiftly down the dark tunnel. Once we had reached the end and sealed the tunnel, we headed to the front of the village. There we saw Sue in lightweight armor with two swords at her hip on a horse.
                          
"Sue what is going on?" I ask
                          
"I'm going to one of the neighboring villages to notify them of your return," She tells me.
                          
"Why do they care?"
                          
"No one told you? Well you did just get back... The village I am going to wants to merge villages to avoid being attacked by us." She sounds angry, but as if she was trying to hide it. I don't know why, she was fine earlier.
                          
"So why do they care if I'm here or not?"
                          
"Because we are merging by marrige... I found out while you were gone, I'm sorry." she says in a disappointed tone.
                          
"It's okay, I know that you would have told me earlier if you'd have known..." 
                          
I turn away from Sue and walk to my room. I laid down in my bed and stared up at the ceiling.
                          
By marrige... I guess now I could never be with Sesshomaru. Not that I could even if I weren't being married. But I guess I'm fine with that, it wasn't real. Right?
                          
"What's on your mind?" Mother says as she walks into my room and sits by my side.
                          
"The marrige, it's so sudden and I don't want to do it..." I reply.
                          
"I know, the only reason I want to do this is for the village and the people." She says.
                          
"But what about me? What about what I want, who I want to marry?"
                          
"And who would that be? See you don't even know."
                          
"But I do know, or at least I think I do, I want to leave... when I'm healed I'm going to leave. And if I have to I'll leave before then. I want to find him..."
                          
"Who could you possibly want to find? That demon? You don't have any reason to see him, your days hunting Naraku are over. So pllease, I need the villages to merge, without that the whole village will starve."
                          
"What?"
                          
"The soil has become completely unfertile because of the demons that were burried, but the neighboring village has the largest and fertile farmland in the area."
                          
"But..."
                          
"Please?"
                          
"If I have to do it for my people then I will, but don't expect me to forgive you for doing this to me." With that I left.
                          
------------(Sue's POV)------------
                          
I rode my horse as fast as I could, hoping to get there as fast as possible. If I get there sooner than I'm expected then I can spend more time with Toshi. I can't believe that (y/n) gets to marry Toshi, she doesn't even know him. There is no way she would ever love some one like Toshi the way I do. 
                          
When I reach the village it's already night time. I pulled on the reins of my horse and brought him to a complete stop at the gates. The gaurds asked who I was and I stepped down from my horse.
                          
"My name is Sue Ishikawa, I am from Yamashita village, I come bearing news about the engagement of Toshi Ikeda and (y/n) Okuda." I state my name and business. 
                          
The guards open the gates and I walk my horse straight to the stables. I saw Toshi waiting there for me and I ran into his arms. 
                          
"How did you  know I would be here?" I say happily.
                          
"I heard the guards talking about it and knew you  would be here to untack your horse." he says.
                          
"The guards here can't fight at all but they sure do get the word around fast."
                          
"That is very true, but at least when we are one village that problem will be solved. I wish I was marrying you, Sue. You are so beautiful..." he says as he kisses my forehead. 
                          
I wear a sad expression on my face as I pull out of his embrace.
                          
"I wish I could marry you too, but I'm not the daughter of the chief. So I'm afraid that's not in the cards for us." I say.
                          
He says nothing as I untack my horse. We both turn to see a guard walking towards us.
                          
"I must go, but I will see you in the morning at the meeting." He kisses me and rushes off into the night before the guard could spot us.
                          
"Hello, Miss Sue Ishikawa, I am here to escort you to your room." the guard says.
                          
"Thank you" I say politely, then we start walking to my room.
                          
------------(Your POV)-------------
                          
When I woke up Sue had come back already, so I knew I had slept in. This whole marrige thing has made me feel so helpless and not in control. I feel as if my life has been swept from under me, without my free will I might as well be dead. I get up, grunting in pain because my injuries still hurt. I walk to Miss Machi's hut for some of the herbs that she had given me yesterday, they really seemed to ease the pain which was great. 
                          
"Hello Miss Machi, I've come to have my injuries treated."I say as I stand in the doorway.
                          
"Oh hello dear, why don't you lay down over there and take off those dirty bandages."
                          
"Okay"
                          
I do as she says while she gathers random jars of herbs, bandages, and a bucket of clean water. 
                          
"Here we go, dear" she says as she sets all of it down and kneels down by my side.
                          
"It's so nice to see that your wounds are healing so fastly." she says.
                          
"Yeah, I wish it felt as good as they look."
                          
"Well once I'm done rinsing off the wound I'll put a paste made of herbs that will dampen your pain."
                          
"Thank you." I say while she grabs the paste.
                          
"It's nice to finally have something to do, don't get me wrong, I feel very bad that you have been injured. But in the end I'm quite bored while the men are away on their bandit raids, and ever sice you left your mother has put Sue in charge of leading the village in her place, while she goes to lead the raids like you used to." She says as she finishes with the paste and wraps the wound with bandages.
                          
"Mother mentioned something about that, but she said that you were too busy to run the village, if you say that you are bored and lonely than you must have the time to run the village in my mother's absence,"
                          
"W-well that's not necessarily true, I-uh-um have to go gather herbs and do research, which leaves me no time to run the village. Now, I am done treating your injuries and you are free to go."
                          
"O-okay" I say as I scramble to put my kimono back on fully while she is rushing me out the door.
                          
I see Sue across the way through the crowds and wave to her, I take a step in her direction but she gives me a cold look and turns away. What is all of that about? Why is she acting like this? I can't stand it here anymore! Everything has fallen apart since I've returned and I can't even fix it. I need answers, I need... Lady Itsuji! I can go see her! I can ask about seeing Sesshomaru, seeing her will surely help in some way...
