Remember those days where you didn't have to worry about a thing? Like what to wear, how you style your hair, who's going out with who, all the things you didn't have to worry about when you were a kid.

I miss those days. It seems like just yesterday Carmen and I were playing with our Barbies', Now we were going to graduate together in less than an hour.

The only thing different was that Alex, the love of my life was gonna be there.

Ibwas all over the place with my emotions,  I was ecstatic, sad, scared, pessimistic.

Every emotion you could think of. I sit in front of my vanity, doing my hair.

I had curled it and put a braid on the side, doing light make up.

I finished with a black dress that comes down to my knees. I put on my blue and white robe, the school colors, and head downstairs to see my mom waiting for me, she was in tears,  looking at Ashton and I,

"My babies, are all grown up." She sobs and I smile hugging her.
"You said the same thing at prom." She smiles through her tears.

"Yeah, but this is the real deal."

She's right this is the real deal. But it won't change anything, sure I'll be growing up but I'll still be the same me.

"Mom visit we'll often don't worry." Ashton says kissing mom's cheek.

"I'll hold you to that, and call at least twice a day."

I chuckle at her protection.

"Don't worry we will mom, now we have to go, we'll see you there." I say.

**
On the way, to school I thought about everything that happened this year, meeting Alex, conquering my bully, getting in a crash, meeting my father in Paris.

This has been a crazy year but I've gained so much, I wouldn't change a thing.

I was going to miss my friends dearly especially Carmen we were gonna be on different sides of the states. I don't know what I'll do without her.

**

I arrive at the school and head to the auditorium.

I find my friends and make my way towards them a smile on my face.

"This is it. We are finally growing up!" Carmen shouts and I grin at her excitement.

"I'm going to miss you Carmen." I smile

"I won't miss you." She says making my smile fade.

"Why the hell not?" I pout.

"Why would I miss you when we are going to the same school, I'll  basically see you everyday." I squeal.

"You snake! This is gonna be great." I smile.

Things were awesome.

I felt arms around my waist and a kiss on my neck.

"Hey, you look beautiful." I smile and turn in Alex's arms to give him a kiss. "I know."

He laughs.  "What, no thank you?"

He  rolls his eyes nonetheless, smiling. "Thanks, Alex."

**

I grab my diploma, and smile looking at the class I spent four years with.

I go back to my seat and cheer when my friend's names are being called. Rather soon, the ceremony is over, I'm happy, truly happy.

I get to start my adult life with the ones I truly love.

I once again feel strong arms wrap around my waist.

"We're graduates!" Alex yells spinning me around,

"Yeah, we are." I laugh.

He puts me down and I excuse myself to see my family.

My mom is crying and I hug her telling her it'll be alright.

Then I see my father. What the hell was he doing here?

"Becky." He smiles. And I look away.

"For you." He handed me flowers.

"Thanks." I say bluntly.

"You and Ashton are all grown up." He states.

"Yeah, to bad you weren't here to see it." I refuse to be upset.

But with him here. I don't know what'll happen.
