*4 months later*
I've never had butterflies in my stomach this bad before. I rub my swollen belly to try to sooth my nerves.
Angel must notice and looks up at me in the mirror from where she's doing my hair "Silver everything will be fine - Damon loves you more than anything in the world, nothing will go wrong today."
I nod and smile, but really I just want to see Damon; which is hilarious after the amount of work it took to convince Damon that it's tradition to spend the night before the wedding apart. You try telling an overprotective biker that he can't be with his fiancée who's four months pregnant, Reaper and the boys had to physically drag him away from our house - and only after Reaper promised to have some of the Devils patrol the house. Although I'm positive I heard his bike drive by several times throughout the night to check on the house.
I almost laugh at the memory. I look down to rub my stomach again, lord knows what this poor little girl will have to deal with when she wants to start dating.
I'm brought out of my thoughts when Angel steps back from my hair, "Take a look Silver"
I stand and walk over to the full length mirror in mine and Damon's master bedroom, the flowy white gown falls nicely around my prominent belly and Angle has put my hair up and even tucked flowers into it. My makeup is simple, but better than anything I could do - I turn to face Angel, "Thank you so much - I don't know what I'd do without you"
Angel beams at me, "Anytime Silver - you're stuck with me for good now anyway." The rest of the Devils only recently found out that Reaper and Angel went to city hall to get married as soon as Angel was fully healed, me and Damon were the witnesses and the only other guests were Reaper's parents. It didn't surprise me at all, it's always been their style to keep details of their relationship private. It was an honour to be there, Angel wore a simple white lace dress and Reaper wore a suit - and of course Angel had a lavender bouquet.
Angel looks over at the clock on Damon's bedside table, "Holy crap - we need to get moving". I laugh and follow Angel out to her Camaro, we let the radio fill the car as we drive to Rattlesnake point with devils riding in front and behind us.
We arrive to see the entire club gather around a flowered arch at the top of the point, Reaper comes over to quickly kiss Angel before he takes my arm to walk me down the aisle. Reaper leans over to whisper to me, "He's been going crazy without you beside him Silver".
I smile at the devils around me as we start to walk - I will always be grateful for the Devils, they truly are and always will be family.
The crowd settles down as me and Reaper make it down the aisle, I can see Damon relax when he sees me, the scowl on his face is immediately replaced with a smile. It feels like forever until Reaper finally kisses my cheek and I can reach out to hold Damon's hand. I can't help but notice the bigger than usual bags under Damon eyes, I know I barely got any sleep without him - I guess he couldn't either, or he was staying up to drive by the house.
I barely listen to a word the officiator says, focusing on Damon's beautiful face but especially when the butterflies in my stomach reach new levels of fluttering - and then I realize it's not fluttering but kicking. Damon sees me grip my stomach and bends down ignoring to ceremony to whisper, "Beautiful what's wrong?"
I grab Damon's hand and place it on my stomach while whispering back, "She just kicked for the first time". Damon's eyes light up as he feels her kick again, then he leans over to kiss my forehead.
Reaper clears his throat pulling us out of our own little world so Damon can say his vows, "Silvia, I have loved you since the first time I saw you when we were just kids. You've been my best friend for as long as I can remember and I intend to continue to be your rock, as a friend, but now as a husband and partner as well for the rest of our lives. Through any challenge that comes our way - I know we can face it together. I can't wait to meet our daughter and start a life with both of you. I love you."
I smile back at Damon and quietly laugh at the fact that Damon kept his hand on my stomach the entire time he was saying his vows.
I take a deep breath and put my hand over Damon's which is still resting on my stomach, "Damon, you have always been my best friend - I can tell you anything, I trust you with all of my heart and I know you would go to the ends of the Earth to protect me and our family-"
Damon interrupts me with a muttered, "Damn right" - did I mention that he's been more protective than usual lately?
I chuckle along with all the other Devils and continue, "But you've also become my partner, in everything - someone who will carry a burden with me, not for me. The man that's going to raise our children with me. The man who will face every problem and conflict by my side. I couldn't do any of it without you Damon, I love you."
Damon squeezes my hand, trying to hide his eyes welling up. He slides the beautiful wedding band on my hand and I do the same for him; our rings are both engraved - but not with pet names, just the word 'Forever' and I wouldn't have it any other way.
He straightens up to say, "I do" and I don't think I've ever smiled this big before.
I nod and say "I do"
Damon takes a step closer to me as he keeps one hand on my belly and one hand behind my neck and kisses me. I hold onto Damon not wanting the kiss to end, the amount of love and passion this man shows me makes my knees weak.
When we finally break apart the whooping and cheering only slightly quiets down. Damon takes my hand and we walk to the clubhouse truck; I know Damon misses when we could both ride on his bike together but I know he'd never even think of risking me or our daughter. Damon helps me get in the passenger side and settles himself behind the wheel, we start to head back to the clubhouse for the reception.
Because of the vintage model truck I scoot right beside Damon to cuddle into his side, he wraps one arm around me and let's out a relaxed sigh, "How are you beautiful?"
"I'm exhausted - I couldn't sleep without you at home"
"Me neither beautiful - it's a stupid tradition that I had to be away from you. It's not good for the baby either if you don't get any rest"
I chuckle and lean up to kiss his cheek, "Well I know I wasn't completely away from you - I heard your bike pass by a few times last night"
Damon smirks while keeping his eyes on the road, "You have no idea how hot it is that you know my bike by the sound of it's motor"
I let out a full laugh, "I'll remember that"
Damon squeezes me into his side as we get closer to the clubhouse, "You're going to owe me a proper slow dance once the little one is born"
My eyebrows scrunched in confusion, "Aren't we going to dance now?"
Damon ran his hand over my belly, "Yes but I won't be able to hold you nearly as close as I'd like to"
I chuckle and rest my head on Damon's shoulder, "Fair enough - I owe you a slow dance"
We pull up to the clubhouse, but Damon doesn't make a move to get out, "I mean I'm still going to try to slow dance with you today because frankly after last night I don't want to be away from you - either of you anymore."
I turn Damon's head to look at me so I can kiss him, "The feeling is mutual husband"
Damon cracks a huge grin, "Glad we're on the same page wife"
We finally make a move to go inside the clubhouse and start celebrating with the rest of the Devils - I can already tell it's going to be a great night.
