"Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself,"
Why, then, do we keep stacking such fears up the shelf?Speaking aloud certain terms wouldn't bring an apocalypse,
Then why aren't they comfortably uttered by our lips?If a bra's treated just like a garment, it'll cease being a big matter,
Oh, already judging me? Well I'm not here to flatter.Menstruation ain't pure, nor impure, it is only biological,
Making such a fuss over it, doesn't even seem logical. Why do sanitary napkins or tampons make you lower your voice,
There's nothing unnatural, being on period is not even a choice. The word 'sex could mean male or female, it can be commonly used,
Or even if it refers to "the thing", stop getting the kids confused. While talking of my genitalia, why do I need do hush down?
Hearing such words, why do people start to gasp or frown?Culturally wrong? But, people, ain't it educationally right?
Against this taboo of names, together we need to fight. If not now, when and how are we going to step towards progress?
Against every raised voice, a muffling hand are we going to press? So, why not give up this fear of names?
And stop letting such words make us feel ashamed? Why not accept that there's only one way out of here?
And, that to all these questions, "change" is the only answer?!
