(Skuyler)
"So," Amber said once we got to her house and were inside. "I realize it's two AM, but what do you think about pancakes?"
"Like, do I like them or should we make them?" I asked.
"Well, seeing as you and Jayy have eaten at IHOP together in the past, I assumed you liked them." She glanced at me for confirmation about that while she looked through her cabinets. I nodded. "So what's your opinion on making them?"
"I mean, if you can then I'm alright with it, of course." I replied. "But I've got a history of not being that great a cook."
She smiled and put an armful of things down on the counter beside the sink. "I've heard. I, on the other hand, am an absolutely fantastic cook, so of course I can make silly old pancakes."
She waved a whisk at me and laughed. We spent some time making them, and I helped her where I could. And we talked about Jayy and Dahvie while we ate them. She thought we were adorable, apparently, which I didn't fight with simply because I thought they were adorable and she didn't try to deny it either. I'm not sure exactly how long we talked for, and I can't say I really remember exactly what we talked about either. Because I'm dead tired and cleaning up kind of changed the subject to other random things.
She forced me to sleep in a bed instead of somewhere else, like I usually do to other people when they stay over, despite my protesting. Her argument was that it's cool because it's not even her bed. (She has a guest bedroom for when her parents or other people stay over. Not Dahvie, I assume. They probably would sleep in the same bed if he were here.) So we both went to sleep because we were equally tired, and I woke up in the morning to find that Amber was still asleep and I'd just missed a call from Jeffree.
I called him back and asked him what was up. "I heard you and Amber had a little sleepover. How was the sex, honey?"
I rolled my eyes. "Wow, you're funny, Jeffree." I said. "I really appreciate your wonderful sense of humor."
"Somebody just woke up!" He laughed, and then asked if Amber and I wanted to meet him at the mall to do some shopping.
"I think she might have to work, but if she wants to drop me off on her way there I'll hang with you." I replied. "I can figure it out with her and then let you know, kay?"
"Sure thing, honey." I could tell he was smirking. "See you around!" He hung up. I rolled my eyes for good measure and dragged myself out of bed to find Amber sleeping through her alarm. I turned it off for her and sat on the edge of her bed, and then I gently shook her shoulder to wake her up.
"Whosat?" She asked sleepily.
"It's Skuy. You're sleeping through your alarm." I told her. "Which I assume was meant to wake you up, yeah?"
She grumbled something and sat up abruptly, shaking her head and in turn smacking me with her hair. I didn't mind, of course, so I didn't say anything about it. She rubbed her eyes, yawned for a little, and eventually dragged herself out of her bed just like I had earlier. I stayed out of the way of her morning routine. Aside from telling her Jeffree's request.
"Well... you know I totally would, but I've actually got to get some shit done at work, you feel me?" She told me. I nodded from where I was leaning against the doorframe of her bathroom, where she was busy fixing her hair. "But if the timeframe works for you I can drop you there since it's on the way to work."
Phew... I didn't want to ask her to drop me off because I felt like it'd be kind of using her. "If you're really okay with doing it, sure. I don't want to inconvenience you though." I replied. "Because I can totally walk."
