“ SO WHAT IF I'M DRUNK IF I PAID FOR THE GODDAMN DRINK LEMME DRINK IT!” I screamed at the bartender.
“Miss this is you tenth vodka if you go on like this we might need to go to the hospital ”
“So what?" I answered "Just take me to my room if I pass out the key is in my right pocket.” I showed him the key and winked.
At that moment I noticed people were staring at me. I'm at the hotel bar, this is where I always end up after a wedding. I'm 24 and boyfriendless since well forever.... Not that I mind though but this trend of marrying at an young age is going on and all my friends keep wondering when it's going to be my turn. “Mind your own goddamn business and shut the hell up.” is what I would always think, but put on the best fake smile instead.
I gulped down my vodka like it was nothing and turned my chair to look behind me. The bar was empty with few people around. I was looking at the beautiful red and gold decor of the bar that reminded me of a 20's bar. Big red armchairs with golden edges, round sofa's with large round tables, a gigantic chandelier and a deep dark brown wooden floor.
When I suddenly noticed a man with a pink hoodie, mask and a pair of round sunglasses. “Oh right”I thought to myself. “I'm still in Korea...”My best friend got married to her Korean sugardaddy and flew me all the way from NYC to be her witness at her wedding.
In my drunken state, I approached the guy that was sitting at a round table and sat down next to him.
“Hey mister!~” he turned his head around while I gave him a big drunken smile.
“Don't you know we're inside a building and you shouldn't be wearing these things?”
He pushed away his head when he noticed my hands got closer to his face.
Before he could do anything I had already taken off his mask and sunglasses staring deeply at him before he quickly turned away his face.
“Thaaaats betterrr~” I said, “Now you are being polite.”
I stood up and took a few steps to the bar, I turned around to see the man in the hoodie looking at me with a puzzled face. His expression was hard to read it felt like he was expecting me to know him.
I turned back around but at that moment I felt my knees getting weak and my body started to heat up. I took one step further and the last image I could see was the bartender reaching for me. I fainted.
When I briefly woke up I noticed that I was laying on someone's back. I smelled a nice perfume. It smelled very refined as if I was walking in a field of flowers. I tightened my grip, I noticed his broad shoulders. It was definitely a man that was carrying me. After that, I fell asleep again.
My ringing phone woke me up. I took my phone out of my pants that I'm still wearing from the night before and turned off my alarm clock. I'm still laying down on my bed when I suddenly recall yesterday's events. I sprung out of my bed. With the most embarrassing face. “Did I really faint in a hotel bar?”I thought to myself. How did I even get here?
As I start to remember I kept on wondering who brought me to my room...
