"But... I don't want you to go." Tyler frowned, a sad look on his face to match the hardcore puppy dog eyes he was giving you right now.
"I know Tyler but I really want to surprise you tomorrow! It wont be a huge surprise, but it'll be fun at least." You smiled, trying to reassure him. Today was the day before your wedding, and also the day you were allowed to get your casts off.
You wanted the next time Tyler to see you to be on your wedding day, cast free, walking down the aisle. It would be another thing for the two of you to look forward to.
You were excited. Tyler, not so much.
"Alright... I'm sure you're right. It'll be worth it." He smiled lightly, although you could tell he still wasn't thrilled. He had been protective of you the entire time you had been recovering, and this would be the first night he would be without you. This made him a little on edge.
You told him that the appointment to get your casts removed had been pushed back. Which, it wasn't entirely a lie. It had only gotten bumped back a few days, but Tyler thought it was after the wedding.
"It'll be fine Tyler. Ill get to see you really soon, alright! I can call you after I get settled at Karley's if that'll make you feel better." You explained, and Tyler gave a small sigh of relief.
You heard a knock on the door before it opened, and Karley walked in with a smile. "Hey! You ready?" She asked, looking from Tyler to you.
"More than ever," You joked. On top of the fact that you were getting your casts off today, you never made it out of the house too much anymore. So even the smallest trips were big adventures to you.
"I'll get her bags," Tyler smiled, hurrying into your room to grab everything.
"Do you think he'll be okay tonight?" You asked Karley nervously. "I'm sure he will be. He'll be with Josh after all," Karley put her hand on your shoulder comfortingly.
Even though Josh was coming over, it still worried you. Tyler hasn't been without you for a while. Or maybe your worry was just your own way of missing him.
"Jeez, what'd you pack in here?" Tyler joked as he came back out into the living room with your bags. "Eh, just some makeup, clothes, a few bricks," you rattled off a list, causing Tyler to smile. "Oh hah hah," he shook his head, and led the way out of the apartment.
Karley helped you out of the apartment and shut the door behind you. "Alright girly, lets tear it up," she smiled, and helped you down the hall.

"You have everything? Your phone? Your wallet?" Tyler leaned against Karley's passenger car door, making sure you had everything you needed. "Yes honey," you nodded. "You have everything you need for tomorrow? If you need anything you can call me and I can run it over to you," he replied with an innocent look in his eyes.
"Or I could, considering the whole reason we're doing this is so that you don't see her before the wedding," Josh met you all in the parking lot, chuckled as he patted Tyler on the shoulder.
"Tyler I have everything I need, it'll be okay" you reassured him. "I just... I'm gonna miss you" he gave you a look, and your heart felt sad. "We'll have an amazing day tomorrow. We'll be able to sing together and dance and eat cake and everything. It'll be okay," you smiled at him.
Tyler smiled back at you, and you could tell he felt better. "You're right... just be careful. And call me after you get to Karley's!" "I will, I promise," you held out your pinky, and Tyler looped it with his. "I love you, and please be careful," Tyler spoke softly to you before giving you a gentle kiss.
"I love you too Tyler. You guys have fun, and don't tear the apartment up too much," you made a face to both of them. Karley gave a small wave to Josh, and the two of you were off.
"So he has no idea about the cast thing?" Karley asked as she pulled out of the complex parking lot. "Nope.. I don't know how I managed to keep my mouth shut about it. I'm so excited to get these things off and be able to move again," you sunk back into the passenger seat.
"Even though I'm gonna be hobbling down the aisle, it's better than being in that wheelchair," you explained, causing Karley to chuckle quietly. "The big picture isn't funny, but when you say you're going to be hobbling down the aisle... it is a little funny."
Karley drove by a few fast food places, and you could feel your stomach growl. "Just so we're on the same page, we're getting food after the appointment right?" You looked over to Karley, and Karley have a look to you in return. "It was a dumb question, I know," you laughed.
The two of you pulled into the parking lot at the doctors office , and you could feel the nerves eating away at you. You hoped nothing would go wrong that would mess up your plans for tomorrow. It was unlikely, but your fingers were crossed.
Karley helped you get out of the car, and she wheeled you into the office. You said your hellos to the receptionists as you put your name in, and went to wait beside Karley.
It wasn't very long before you got called to go back. "(Y/N)?" A nurse smiled at the door. Karley got up and started wheeling you to the back. "Let's do this,"
She whispered to you, causing you to smile. The casts were finally going to get taken off, you were getting married to Tyler tomorrow, and life would finally get a new start after everything that happened in the last few months. Rather than feeling nervous, you were now excited, and couldn't stop smiling the whole time you were in the room. It was going to be awesome.
