Omg! Today I found out My Chemical Romance did a cover of 21 Pilots's song Cancers!

Two days ago Ciara texted me and asked if I was free to come over last night. My biggest mistake was saying yes. She said she also invited Janelle and Cody (which was already making me a little suspicious) to come and watch the AMPAS.
An award show! That sounds fun right? Nope.
I arrive and the first thing I noticed was Janelle. She was wearing a hideous Panicking Disco shirt "for good luck." What kind of luck was needed? Ciara had a bunch of wristbands and Cody had a Pierce The Veil shirt.
I was wearing a freaking tube top, imagine how out of place I felt.
I asked what AMPAS stood for and Ciara laughed at me before saying it was APMAS and that it meant "Awesome People's Music Awards." For some reason Cody and Janelle laughed at that. They think the most random stuff is funny...
Our pizza arrived with barely two minutes to spare. Ciara ran back downstairs and turned up the volume before announcing All Time Low was performing first. I thought, great, I love All Time Low by Jon Bellion.
BUT NO.
SOME FREAK WITH A BANDANA SHOWED UP AND SANG ABOUT GOOD TIMES!

Okay so after that fiasco, a man with the craziest cheekbones and bluest eyes comes on. Seriously this guy's eyes were so blue! He probably had contacts, nobody can have eyes that blue. He also had three names. Janelle called him "Andy Biersack" Cody called him "Andy Black" and Ciara called him "Andy Ballsack."
It wasn't until a good twenty minutes later until I found out what this award show truly was. Apparently it was actually called the Alternative Press Music Awards. Yep, Diary, that's right. I was stuck watching an award show for an annoying genre of music. No Ariana grande performances, no Justin Beiber interviews, and no Selena Gomez awards. It was devastating. I mean, I LOVE alternative press music (whatever genre that is), it just gets old sometimes.
Later on, Pierce The Veil played Circle which was good because I like that song but man, they sound awful live! Jaime (JJ) doesn't have the best voice but oh well. After Circle they did a tribute to Chris Cornell and Janelle teared up because she's a drama queen.
Oh and 21 Pilots won best fan base!! I am so so proud to be apart of that group! Yay 21 Pilots!
That's all I could remember before I fell asleep.
Overall, it was an okay night. A bunch of the performers were screamy and annoying and I didn't know any of the people who won. But hey, I got some free food and my fan base won an award!
Oh and at one point some guy named Ronny Radkey ran on and started yelling at everyone. It was so scary.
