A old man with black hair, a stubble beard and a glass eye was sitting on a park bench, with two Ravens perched atop his shoulders. He looks up at you as you approach and gives you a tight wolffish smile. "Well hello there," he said while feeding one of the Ravens a bit of bread he pulled out of his pocket. "*squawk* this one doesn't look impressive," one of the ravens said.
The old man frowned before lightly flicking its beak. "Now now, it's rude to insult our new friend here," he scolded the Raven before turning to look at you. "My apologies, they can mouth of from time to time. Now I'm sure you are confused and there's a lot of questions you probably want to ask me. But don't worry about that, all you need to know is that I know what you are and what you can," he said before feeding the other Raven on his shoulder. "I am a god, and you are a demigod, one of the many demigods that exist," he said before standing up causing the Ravens to fly off the man's shoulders and onto the bench.
"*squawk* your supposed to warn us when you suddenly stand up like that! *squawk*" the one the Ravens said.
The old man simply shrugged before tossing the bread into a garbage bin. "*squawk* now that's just cruel!" The Raven said.
The man gave a bit of a sadist chuckle before turning to you. "Walk with me and I'll explain further," he said. You agreed and the man began leading you through the park. "Now I must warn you, there is a war going on between the gods, and you Demigods are the foot soldiers who we lead into battle," he said. "And the gods search the world for your kind to recruit you into their regime. Some of us gods act independently, while other band up and forge alliances. A nasty one goes around kidnapping your kind and train you as weapons," he said.
Then there was a roar of thunder as storm clouds began to form up above them. The old man notice this and let out a slight chuckle. "One would think it's Thursday because of this weather," he said before facing you again. "But it's Wednesday, which is my day," he said before letting out a laugh. He then took a deep breath and sighed. "Well anyways, what happens next is up to you," he said. "You could go join a god or gods, go be by yourself and stay out of it. It's your choice."
