Ella's POV
Tom and I were on a date when Sebastian appeared in front of us at a restaurant. He froze time before speaking, making us the only three not frozen in time. "You know what? I'm tired of chasing after you only for you to be taken away from me. By him. I think it's time you go back to being a bachelor," Sebastian glared at Tom. He pressed his fingers to Tom's temples as he struggled and tried to kick him off. Sebastian grit his teeth and finally got Tom pinned down and within seconds Tom didn't look like himself anymore. I didn't think he was the same anymore. He wore a ton of makeup, had bright blonde hair, and wore different clothes.
I gasped when I looked down and noticed my flat stomach and my memories of Tom fading. "No wait. I don't want to leave him. I can't leave him. Let me go! You can't do this!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as Sebastian carried me out to his car to go to his house.
"Now you're all mine, darling. You're all mine and I'm all yours like how things were supposed to be before he had to go and ruin them," Sebastian planted a soft kiss on my head and handed me to Rachel. He held me close to him as Sebastian climbed in the car.
"I hate you. You took my husband and my children from me," I crossed my arms and refused to look at him, still sniffling softly. He didn't say anything as Rachel wiped my tears with his thumbs and put me into a deep sleep.
*Ella's Dream*
I was surrounded by black nothingness. As I looked around I heard a soft voice. I couldn't distinguish what it was saying but I could hear it speaking. It sounded like a foreign language. Finally the last word was said and everything caught fire. I screamed out and fell onto the ground. Sebastian appeared and pulled me into his arms, shielding me as the earth shook beneath us and fire came out of nowhere and everywhere all at once.
"Ella, you have to let go. Just trust me. I'll keep you safe and I'll never let anyone or anything get to you. Just trust me and I swear on my life that I'll keep you safe," Sebastian held me close to his chest and murmured softly in my ear. I sighed and gave in, trusting him like he told me to. Before long everything turned bright and sunny. It was all beautiful but I saw dark thunderclouds in the distance and a tornado in the mess of lightening and thunder.
*End Dream*
"Ella. Ella. Wake up. You're having a nightmare," Dave Sabo said, gently shaking me. I sat up and looked around, seeing mine and Sebastian's room. My breathing slowed to back down to normal from its hard panting. I couldn't remember anything except from when I met Sebastian at the mall. I couldn't even remember my parents faces or what their voices sounded like.
"Ella, my beautiful mate. You're finally awake," Sebastian walked in, smiling at me and pulling me close. I yawned and stretched sleepily, putting my arms up to him.
I remembered a couple years had passed since Sebastian and I had first mated. He refused to get married like how I wanted to do it. His reason was that only mortals bound themselves through anything other than normal demon mating. I tried for about two years having a baby before Sebastian finally told me that his dad made it purposely so he couldn't have children. That brought our sex life way down to almost nothing. I felt guilty because I did love him but I didn't love him like how most relationships seem. I brought up adoption to him several times but he'd never hear it. He didn't want a child that wasn't his in our house. After all these years he hadn't made me a demon. I was his queen but I was still a mortal.
He snapped me out of my thoughts but picking me up and pulling me into his arms, kissing all over my cheeks. We both looked over when we heard the door opening. "Uh Ella, you mind helping? Rob and Rachel got into another fight and Scotti and I were messing around and we got gum in our hair again," Dave walked in, looking over at me uneasily as he referred to Rob Affuso and Scotti Hill.
I playfully rolled my eyes and pulled away from Sebastian, walking over to Dave. "It's always something with you lot. Come on. How bad do Rob and Rachel need medical attention?" I asked as Sebastian followed us.
"I dunno. They're both bleeding pretty bad in a couple different places. Alpha males don't belong in the same room together. Especially them without Sebastian but they don't listen," he shrugged. I sighed and went to grab the medical kit as Sebastian pulled me close to him.
"Let go. I gotta get them fixed up," I laughed as he kissed at my neck. He purred and looked down at me, smirking.
"Never. I'm never letting go of you and you can't make me, nobody and nothing can," he bit at my neck and laughed.
"Sebastian let her get down here! They're about to get into another fight again!" Scotti yelled up to us. I groaned, grabbing the first aid kit, as Sebastian growled loudly. When I got downstairs I tended to Rob first since he was closer and then got to Rachel. He smiled, pulling me close and kept kissing my cheeks and kissing all over my face. I gave both a shot of morphine since it'd help them both heal faster. Demon blood takes morphine and can heal wounds in two hours instead of two or more weeks.
"Come on, let me wash my hands, Rachel," I laughed as he snuggled me close to him on the couch. He shook his head and kept snuggling me close as Dave and Scotti walked over. Dave handed me a jar of peanut butter and sat in front of me.
"This better be the last time you idiots do something stupid like this," Sebastian scoffed as I covered the gum in their hair with the peanut butter.
"You just hate that I can scoop her up like this and take her for a ride on my shoulders," Dave laughed, picking me up and walking around with me on his shoulders as I still kept trying to get the gum out.
"You be careful. If she gets hurt I will have no hesitation to kill you," Sebastian's eyes turned red and he growled loudly. I giggled and finally got it out of his hair and smiled over at Scotti, ignoring Sebastian.
"You mind helping me out so I can get you fixed up?" I giggled smiling at Scotti. He playfully rolled his eyes and walked over to us, picking me up off of Dave's shoulders and carrying me over to the couch.
"Give her back," Rachel pulled me to him, talking through grit teeth as Scotti sat on the floor in front of me. I snuggled into Rachel as Scotti rolled his eyes.
"I was bringing her back. Jeez," he mumbled as I got the gum out of his hair also. After I had finished I skipped up to Sebastian's study. He saw me tiptoe in and looked up at me, smiling widely.
"There's my beautiful little mate. Come here," he opened his arms. I laughed and smiled, running over to him, and jumping into his lap. He held me tightly to him and softly kissed my forehead. After a few minutes had passed I fell into a deep sleep on his shoulder having a dream I wouldn't remember when I woke back up.
