Rose had taken away the cast on her arm and leg and she was getting better day by day although the fact that her mother basically ignored her and she had no idea what she was doing back in district two and her father was... well, she didn't even want to know about Gale.
                          
Thr second mother figure she had -Katniss- was keeping her distance from her and she was getting suspicious.
                          
"Do you want any help?" asked Rose walking close to Katniss who was cleaning up her arrows from the animal blood.
                          
"N-no! Just rest" Katniss answered and gulped standing up and leaving the room and going up the stairs. Away from Rose and all the memories she brought back.
                          
"Katniss, you can't ignore her forever" Peeta said pinning her on the wall near the stairs.
                          
"Get off me!" Katniss demanded. She didn't like when he was pinning her on the wall except when they were kissing.
                          
"Do you want me to talk to her?" he asked releasing his grip on her. She sighed and wrapped her arms around his middle.
                          
"Please" she pleaded and he nodded.
                          
"I will, tomorrow morning" he said stroking her hair behind her ear and pressed his lips to her neck
                          
"Nope, not tonight" she said laughing a little and pushing his chest away as he lifted her up over his shoulder. He started going upstairs and into their bedroom {A/N: We know where this went to ;)}
                          
The next morning, Katniss took Rye to the woods with her as Peeta sent Willow to the bakery so he could stay with Rose.
                          
He sat on the kitchen chair across her.
                          
"Why is Mrs. Katniss avoiding me?" she asked while taking a sip from her coffee. Peeta sighed and looked up at her.
                          
"She knows, she knows how you got your scars" he said. He had concluded that it would be better to tell her straight not coaxing. Rose stared at him wide-eyed.
                          
"I knew it" she whispered. Peeta didn't expect that reaction, "I mean it was the only logical excuse" she added blinking back her tears.
                          
"I know it's hard, Primrose." said Peeta going over to her and kneel down close to her. "But you did the best thing you could. You left and now you are safe with us" he added rubbing her knee sympathetically "Katniss and I will never let anything happen to you nor Rye nor Willow" he finished but just as soon as she parted her lips to speak someone knocked on the door like crazy.
                          
Peeta froze for a moment.
                          
The last time that happened Gale was attacking Katniss.
                          
He stood up and went to open the door but the figure in front of him was not pleasant.
                          
"Where is my daughter?" Gale asked
