Chapter 12

                                    

                                          
*Introducing Rebal*
                          
After having their Pokémon healed they began their journey "So we're going to go pick Rebal up" Ritchie asked.
                          
Ash nodded "Yeah, he just finished catching his final Ultra Beast, so he'll be free to come train with us."
                          
"Who's Rebal" Serena asked.
                          
"He's the Legendary Ultra Beast Tamer from the UB Dimension" Ash replied. "When I first encountered him he was a little unsatisfied with his life as he had to live in his dimension alone cause both his parents died and was unable to catch pokémon because their are no Pokémon in his dimension. Before I left that dimension, I gave him 12 Beast Balls, and told him to catch 6 Ultra Beasts from his dimension so he can be a trainer.  After that, I asked him to become one of my elite four. He gave the thought an idea, but wanted to finish his training first and catching a full team of Ultra Beasts. Last week he contacted me and said he was finally done catching his team. So we're going to pick him up, start training and together we'll look for our final Elite Four member."
                          
"Oh... cool" was all Serena could say.
                          
They came to Hau'oli City only a few minutes later since they were only in the forests outside the city. Following the secret path, they found UB Dimensional Portal rather easily and Ash jumped in.  Serena and Ritchie hung back deciding to let Ash do all the talking. After all he was the only one who had met Rebal. Neither Ritchie nor Serena had.
                          
When Ash hopped back out, he saw a tall, blond haired, blue eyed, man with lots of cuts and bruises on his face. He wore black pants and a matching long sleeved shirt with a black cape over that.
                          
 Ash then looked at Ritchie and Serena and asked, "You ready to train?"

                          
 Rebal then noticed the others "I don't believe we've met. My name is Rebal Ketchum" he said.
                          
"Ritchie Hiroshi" Ritchie greeted shaking hands with him.
                          
"Serena Yvonne" Serena greeted shaking hands as well.
                          
Ritchie then asked, "Wait, why is your last name the same as Ash's?"
                          
"Because in my dimension, Ash Ketchum was really named Red Ketchum who was an Ultra Beast Master and I am also Red's son.
                          
"So what type of Ultra Beast do you specialize in?" Serena then asked.
                          
"I actually specialize in training Ultra Beasts in general seeing as their are only 8 or 9 different kinds of them" Rebal replied. "I've grown up around them my whole life and my father also specialized in them. I've inherited his love for them even though my mother Yellow kept trying to make me kill them all."
                          
"Well good for you for sticking with the beasts you love" Ritchie said. "Me personally, I prefer Electric types."
                          
"Oh; that's a hard type to specialize in" Rebal said. "Because of their ever building electrical currents they have to be released periodically otherwise their bodies will overload. The stronger the Pokémon the more they need it."
                          
Ritchie nodded "Yeah; I have to give them a major battle each day so their electricity doesn't overload. It's arduous work, but it's worth it. They keep growing stronger every day."
                          
"That's awesome; I'd very much like to see your training methods" Rebal said. "What about you Serena? What's your specialty?"
                          
"Oh, um I specialize in Fire-Type Pokémon" she replied.
                          
"Also a good type, but be careful" Rebal advised. "Fire Types are known for their fiery personalities. They can be very hotheaded and quick to rush in so a firm hand is definitely needed. Sometimes they can have very short tempers so firm, but delicate is the best attitude to go with."
                          
"Wow" Serena said amazed committing everything Rebal said to memory. "Thanks for that. I'll be sure to remember it." 
                          
"Looks like somebody did their homework."  Ash said.
                          
"Yah, but wait, whats this thing you call, homework?" Rebal asked.
                          
The others all laughed together at this comment and started training.
