^^ Ryder

It's Monday, which means I come back to school. I rolled over my bed, and forced myself off of the bed. Groaning, a dragged my own feet towards the bathroom, which was outside my room.

Once I showered, I wrapped a towel around my waist, not bothering to dry myself. Walking back to my room I thought of why Zaida did what she did.

Why did she have to kiss me? Why did I have to kiss back?

She can't just use me like that,  Zaida is probably laughing right now. 'I got the nerd to have feelings for me!'

Yea, that's exactly what she's thinking. And that she can just dump me on the curb since she's practically gotten everything she wanted. Which was probably to prove that everyone— even the stuck up nerd— has fallen for the great Zaida.

So what do I do now? Avoid her like the plague? Maybe that's what I should do.

I sighed as I got ready for school. I'm going to miss her. Zaida brought out a side of herself that I only saw. Too bad that side is going back to its cave for a while. She really is perfect— the kind of perfect you never suspected to show up in your life.

"Bye mom," I kissed her cheek, as I got out of the car.

"Tell Zaida I said 'hi' okay?" She looks at me, with her eyebrow raised.

"Okay," I nod with a sigh. Yeah right. There's no way I'm talking to her.

I hate how one day no one knew who I was, and here I am the next. With every pair of eyes on me.

Why do these things happen?

Isn't these kind of things only happens in the movies?

I sighed, trying to ignore all the stares that I was receiving. I walked towards my locker, and grabbed the books I needed, and left the ones I didn't need. As I closed my locker, I was slammed into the lockers.

I clenched my eyes shut, and groaned as my back made contacts with the lockers. I slowly opened my eyes, and saw someone I was not expecting to see.

Ryder.

"Please don't hurt me!" I whimpered barely audible, as he slammed me against the lockers— again. My feet barely touches the floor, and Ryder glared at me with his fist around my collar, holding me up.

"Shut up, nerd!" He was angry. I didn't know what I did to make him angry. I actually never crossed him except that one time my pencil somehow was thrown across the room when I was fidgeting with it. From then on I never cross him. Until now.

"You stay. The. Fuck. Away. From Zaida." He said tightening his grip on the collar of my button up shirt. So this was about her.

I should've known, Ryder had a thing for Zaida since we were kids. Unfortunately for me, I became a nobody while Ryder and Zaida became the popular.

"Zaida?" I squeaked, as he tightens the grip even more when I said her name. See? Everyone wants her.

"Yes, Zaida. You better stay the fuck away from her. If I see you —hear— that you were with her. I will make your life hell! Got it?" He said with gritted teeth, and his nostrils flared angrily.

"GOT IT?!" He slammed me onto the lockers once again, when I didn't respond.

"Crystal," I wheezed, falling towards the floor, and he lets go of the collar of my clothing. My breathing was hard and heavy, as I tried to take in all the oxygen. Stupid Ryder.

Stay away from her? It was my plan anyways.

I slowly got up, brushing the dust that was on my clothes. I mumbled a few curse words towards Ryder, who was already out of sight.
