Karma pov
I started to wake up, but then my head throbbed with pain
"Urgh" I clenched my teeth to deal with the pain
I didn't bother to look at the time, but I could tell it was morning
                          
It wasn't until a few seconds later that I was fully awake and remembered my situation.
"Nagisa!!" I yelled
I was about to get up, only to be pulled back
I turned around and saw my hands chained to the wall
"Damn it"
I knew something was wrong the moment I saw Takaoka with her
Flashback 
I was walking back to the house holding the grocery bag
"I should ask Nagisa how to make the Stuffed Acorn Squash" I told myself, knowing I'm not a good cook like she is, but the moment I reached the house I saw Okuda infront of our door
"Okuda?"
She turned around right away
"Karma! It's been a while. How have you been?"
I walked up to her
"Fine, but what about you? Everyone was really worried you know"
"Oh, about that..."
"Let me guess, you were with your boyfriend" I teased her
I saw her cheeks turn a bright pink
"N Not at all!"
"So. Why did you suddenly dissappear?"
"...I was busy with work"
"...I see"
I passed her and was about to unlock the door
"But...what are you doing here? It's kinda late, don't you think"
Okuda was looking down
"Oku..."
"HURRY UP!"
I turned around from the sudden yell that came from behind her
"You!" I glared at him
Takaoka chuckled
"It's been a while, Karma"
"..."
"Okuda hurry up, I don't have all day"
I looked over at Okuda
"I should have known. This is why you were gone for so long. But for what?" I asked
Okuda kept looking down
"I'm sorry Karma"
"...." I didn't respond, I instead kept glaring at her
"I'm sorry, I wanted to do this without involving you, but I guess that won't happen"
"What do you mean?" I asked 
"Don't worry Karma, I'll break the spell Nagisa put on you!"
"!?"
"I'll end her for you, that way we can both live happily ever after!"
"Don't you dare touch her!"
"Sorry Karma, I don't want you to get hurt...so..."
"You bastard, if you even touch her..."
Before I could finish I was knocked out
Flashback end 
                          
I'll kill them if they even lay a finger on her!
I tried getting up but I fell back down
"Damn you Okuda"
I kept pulling on the chains and I didn't stop, even when my wrists started bleeding
"Shit"
I didn't stop, I kept pulling and pulling till it got dark again
























                          
I eventually stopped tugging the chains and I was left in a puddle of my blood
I lowered my head to the floor
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Nagisa"
Teats started falling down my cheeks, but I didn't care
I failed to protect her
