I walk down the stairs, my beige open toe pumps making a clicking sound as they collided with the tile floor. The beige silk gown flowed behind me and a few curled strands tickled my face. As I reach the final stair I look up to find Adrian. He had his gaze trained on the rectangular piece of paper in his hands, his jaw was clenched, and breathing unsteady.
"Adrian are you alright?" I question at the angry looking man in front of me.
"I am fine." He answers but I am sure he is not actually fine.
"You sure?" I try once more only to earn a harsh glare from him and a mean response.
"As I said I am fine!" He growled. "Now how about you worry about yourself and leave me alone."
I flinch at his answer and decide to drop the subject and leave him alone. He stuffed the paper into his blue blazer before walking towards the awaiting limousine. Without saying another word I follow him into the black car. Once David shuts the door, Adrian opens the cooler and pulls out a bottle of expensive whiskey. He pours the brown liquid into a glass and drinks the alcohol in one gulp.
"You sure you should be drinking before the wedding?" I ask.
Adrian turns to look at me with an annoyed look and replies, "I told you to worry about yourself, didn't I?"
"Why are you acting like an asswhole of a sudden?" Adrian rolls his eyes and simply pours himself another glass of whiskey. I sigh in defeat and look out the tinted window.
Oh god please help me!

The car came to a stop signaling we had finally arrived. The door opened to reveal a smiling David. I thanked him with a smile as he helped me out. A tipsy Adrian stepped out of the car. He unbuttoned his blue blazer before slipping it off and throwing it into the limousine. A frown was placed on his face as well as an angry look in his eyes.
"Jane, sweetie glad you guys could make it." Anna, Adrian's mom greeted. I walked over to her and gave her a hug.
"Jane!" Gabby exclaimed before rushing towards me. Her brown blonde colored tip locks were placed into neat curls that dropped down her shoulders. Her beige gown reached the ground, it had a sweetheart neckline, and diamonds decorating the chest part.
"Hey, Gabby." I reply as we hug. "You look amazing."
"You look great as well." She complimented and I gave her a smile.
"Mom may I speak to you in private?" Adrian asked and his mom nodded. They walked a couple feet away from us but I could still make out what they were saying.
"Why did you tell me to come knowing who was getting married?" Adrian angrily questions. I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.
Who is getting married?
"Adrian, I did not know. Jeremy's parents invited me because we are friends." His mom explains. "I didn't know that the bride was Leila."
Leila? Where have I heard that name before?
Flashback
"Do I actually think I believe that bullshit?" He asks while raising an eyebrow. "You're hot Jane but you're a good girl, definitely not my brother's type. Plus, I don't think he would actually be able to marry someone especially after what happened with Leila."
