Ella's POV.
                          
Ella walked into Barry's lab to find him sitting at his computer. She smiled at him. "Hey, Barry." He smiled back, looking slightly flushed. "Hey, Ella."  She was confused of why he looked so odd just by seeing her. He stood up and put his hands in his pockets. 
                          
"So. . .what did you want to talk about?" He asked. Ella bit her lip. "It's. . .complicated." She hesitated. Barry studied her and furrowed his eyebrows. "What's complicated?" He asked. She sighed,  walked over and sat on the corner of his desk. He sat down in his chair. She began to rethink her decision on talking to him about it. "Ella, what's going on?" He asked in concern, seeing her hesitation. 
                          
She looked down at Barry. "Last night I went on a date with Scott." She began. Barry's expression changed from listening intently to slightly disappointed, then back to listening closely. "After our date I came back to my apartment and started to work on my new story. After I had finished i looked over and saw. . .the Flash standing outside on the balcony." She said. 
                          
Barry nodded. "He visited you again?" He asked. She nodded. "Yes, it took him two months to do so, though." She said. Barry looked down. "Are you angry?" He asked. "I was, but he apologized and I forgave him."
"Oh." Barry said. 
                          
"Anyway he and I talked for a bit and then he asked if I wanted to go for a run. I accepted. He ran us to the top of a bridge. I couldn't believe the feeling of running. It was incredible. He was incredible." She paused remembering the events of last night. Ella looked over at Barry her had a hint of smile on his lips. She ignored it and continued. "In the moment I said some things and. . .he leaned down and kissed me." She finally told her best friend. 
                          
He looked slightly worried. "Was that bad?" He asked. "Yes and no." She answered. He looked at her in confusion. "What do you mean yes and no?" He asked. "Well yes because it was the most. . .amazing kiss I've ever experienced in my entire life! And no because I'm with Scott! You realize I cheated on my boyfriend right?" She exclaimed. Disappointment filled Barry's face. He looked down and to the side, while sighing. "Right. Scott." He said. 
                          
She nodded. "Barry I don't know what to do. Should I tell Scott what happened or should I just keep it to myself and not let it happen again?" She asked. Barry's head shot up to meet her eyes. "Not let it happen again? I thought you liked it?" She looked at him like he was crazy."Just because I liked it doesn't mean I'm going to just make it a habit to cheat on my boyfriend." Barry nodded. "Right." 
                          
"Barry. I need your advice. What should I do?" He sighed. "Well. . .if I was your boyfriend. . ." He began. She blushed at his mentioning it. ". . .I would want you to tell me what happened." He said. She nodded. "How do you think he'll take it?" She asked. He shook his head. "I don't know. You'll just have to see." She nodded. "Alright. Thanks Barry." She picked up her purse and began to walk out. 
                          
"Why did you kiss him?" Barry asked all of the sudden. She stopped and turned to him. "What?" She asked. "You kissed him back right? Why did you?" He asked. She thought about it. Why had she kissed him back? 
                          
"I. . .I don't know. I guess I was just so captivated by him. He's quite a wonderful guy. And. . .he seems to care for me a lot. He's a hero and he makes feel. . .happy." She said without thinking. Barry smiled softly at her. "And that's why you kissed him?" He asked. She nodded. 
                          
"Does Scott make you happy?" He asked. She opened her mouth to say yes, but stopped. Scott made her happy yes, but not as happy as The Flash or even Barry did. "I. . .he does." She answered hesitantly. "He does? Does he make you as happy as the Flash does?" He asked. 
                          
Ella looked at him. She knew why he was asking all this. "The Flash is a superhero. He's mysterious and incredible, he makes everyone happy, including me, but Scott is my boyfriend. I can't measure him by the standards of a superhero. It wouldn't be fair." She answered. She nodded understandingly.
