All throughout the week I’d text Abby, all day every day. In between my studio time we would hang out whether it was getting breakfast, lunch, dinner or just hanging out at her flat. I hadn’t introduced her to the rest of the guys yet because I’m nervous either Niall or Zayn will try to charm her and take her away from me. In plus, she’s my friend not theirs, yes I’m territorial, I can’t help it. Currently it was Friday and Abby had been sick since yesterday and I felt terrible, she has the flu so of course she is miserable. I decided I would run by her flat today to check on her and make sure she is still alive, but I had to go into the studio first to work on our second album. I had just arrived at the studio booth when Liam was tracking his part for one of the songs, it’s my absolute favorite song so far, Live While We’re Young, it’s a catchy kind of 'I want to dance to it' song.

“Hey Lad,” Niall said from his spot on the couch. I walked over to him and took a seat.

“Hey Niall.”

“What are you up to?” He asked, distracted by his phone.

“Uh. Nothing? You do know we are at the studio right mate?” I asked him and he peered up from his phone and looked around at his surroundings.

“Oh, we are aren’t we? I don’t remember…” Niall said and I just simply shook my head at him.

“Hey Harry, what are you doing for the rest of the day?” Zayn said from the soundboard.

“Going to visit Abby after the studio.”

“Yeah, have you done it yet?” He said as he wiggled his eyebrows at me.

“No! It’s not like that, she and I are just friends! Why can’t I be friends with the opposite sex?” I said to no one in particular.

“Mate, we know how you are. There is no such thing as just friends for you!” Niall said while shoving my shoulder.

“Well her and I are just friends, so get over it,” I said pulling my phone out to text the star of the conversation.

No. I feel like death ):

After typing up a response and sending the message the producer let me know it was my turn to track the song and that we were only tracking two songs today since we got so much done yesterday. I stepped into the booth and put the headphones on so I could hear the song, and began singing my heart out.

After a few more hours we decided to call it quits and go home for some rest. As we were walking out of the studio Louis approached me.

“Are you and her really just friends? You don’t have to lie to me mate,” Louis said quietly so the others wouldn’t hear.

“We really are just friends.”

“Do you fancy her?”

“I don’t know, Lou! She’s a great girl, but I’ve only known her a week!” I exclaimed. It was beginning to get on my nerves with how they were acting about this whole ordeal.

“I’m sorry! I’m just happy for you, you seem so happy when you are going to hang out with her or when you come home from hanging out with her. All I care about it your happiness,” Lou said and walked off in the direction the other lads went. I just shook my head and hailed a cab. Once I got in the cab I told him the address to Abby’s flat. I got dropped off outside the building but I walked down the street to a corner café to get her some soup, everybody loves soup when they’re sick. I approached the counter and the girl behind it looked up and appeared as if she were going to fate.
