Laura and Logan were loading up the car. "Father, do you trust Shaun to go with Cassidy alone?" 
"I don't trust Shaun one bit. There's something about him though. I just don't know what it is." 
"I'll keep an eye on both of them." Said Laura. She walked over to Cassidy's car and placed a tracker, with a built in communication device that'll allow Laura to listen in to all their conversations, under the passenger seat in the front. "Laura? What are you doing?" 
"Oh, nothing, mother. Just making sure your vehicle is 100% that's all." Said Laura, as she backed up away from her car. Cassidy looked puzzled at Laura but didn't think much of what she was doing. "Umm, ok?" Said Cassidy, still very confused. Cassidy and Shaun got into the car drove off towards the nearest pet store while Logan and Laura drove off towards a gas station. "Father, do you think Shaun and Cassidy will do anything?" Asked Laura.  "Laura, Shaun knows better to do anything. He knows that you'll kill him if he is to do anything." 
"You got a point."
"So, Laura, don't worry about them." Logan said. Deep down Logan knew that Shaun couldn't be trusted around Cassidy. There was something about him that made Logan not trust him. Logan knew that there was something about Cassidy and Shaun's history before they found him two years ago but he didn't know what it was. Once they reached the Convenient store, Laura grabbed her bag and opened the door to the car. "Laura, remember, don't do anything stupid. And remember what we need.alright?" 
"Yes, father, I know. I won't do anything bad." Said Laura. Laura got out the car and went inside the store. Laura was greeted by the clerk. She didn't say hello back to the clerk she tried ignoring him the best she could. Laura went around the store gathering items and placing them into her bag, without being detected. Laura noticed the clerk heading right towards her. "Excuse me, do you need any help finding something, little girl?" The clerk asked. Laura looked up at him. "No thank you." Said Laura. She moved quickly around him and made a break for the door. The clerk called after to her and sprinted towards her but Laura was to fast for him. She opened the door to Logan's car and told to drive off. Logan quickly turned on his car and took off. He sped down the road back towards the house. "How did it go?" 
"Got all the items you asked for and I didn't attempt to kill anyone." 
"Good. Where's Cassidy and Shaun?" Asked Logan. Laura pulled the tracker out from her pocket and turned it on. "They just left the store and their heading home right now." 
"Good. Keep an eye on them but not a closer eye." Laura nodded her head at him. After a little bit of driving, they finally arrived at the house. Logan parked his car inside the garage and exit out of it. "Laura, put your bag inside. We'll see what you were able to get later." 
"Yes father." Laura got out the car and went inside the house. Logan remained outside and waited for Shaun and Cassidy to arrive home. He grabbed a beer from his car and sat on the hood of his car and waited. After about twenty minutes, Cassidy's car pulled into the driveway. "What took you guys so long?" Asked Logan, as the car came to a stop. Shaun and Cassidy got out and walked towards him. "We stopped for coffee." Said Shaun. Cassidy got the cat food from her trunk and put it in the house. "Did the little girl try to kill anyone?" 
"No, she was fine." Logan told Shaun. Shaun didn't say anything after that. He went inside and Cassidy came outside. "Hey, how was everything?" Cassidy started. "She was in and out, no trouble at all." 
Well, that's good a thing. Did she get all the things on the list we gave her?" 
"Don't know. I didn't check her bag." Logan said. "Well, I'll check it in a few minutes. Hope your holding up okay."
"I'm holding up just fine."
"Good. I'll go check on Laura and Shaun. I love you, Logan." Cassidy gave Logan a kiss on the cheek and went back inside. Logan still remained outside for a few more hours but just then, his phone started vibrating. "Huh, a phone call? Who could that be?" He said to himself. He looked at the contact name and it read "unknown". Logan answered it. "Hello? Who is this?" 
"You are the one they call Logan am I right?"  The voice on the other line was distorted, it was very deep and staticky. "Yes, this is Logan. Who's asking?"
"I am none of your concerns, Logan. All you need to know is that I could either be your friend or your foe. But it's up to you on which one I am." 
"How so?" 
"Your old buddy, irons, is a traitor to this world and he needs to be eliminated."
