A one shot in which Percy takes notice of the pretty blond with grey eyes who goes to his cafe everyday, and his goal is to make her look away from her book and at him one day. Both in Annabeth and Percy's POV's. But whenever she visited it put a smile on his face, and that smile became permanent as Annabeth's visits turned into everyday before work  Annabeth:

Annabeth walked into the cafe. Piper had recommended this exact cafe for when she wanted to do her work in peace and quite. She lived with her friends Piper and Jason in a tiny apartment, and Annabeth loved them, but at times they got on her nerves, especially when their other  friends came around, which was like, almost every day. Leo was also showing off some new gadget he got, and she loved him, but Annabeth personally did not want Leo to set her hair on fire. She took a seat, got her laptop out, and started writing information about her new architecture project. Annabeth, like usual, got absorbed in her work when all of a sudden she heard some one clear their throat. She looked up and saw a tall guy with messy black hair and sea green eyes, and he also seemed like he worked here.

"Oh god I'm sorry!" The guy startled Annabeth, and she tried to cover the awkwardness, which never succeeds with her. He had a grin on his face, and he looked like he was at so much ease when talking to customers, while Annabeth has a heart attack from some one clearing their throat.

"No it's okay ma'am! You clearly seem invested in your work." His grin turned from polite to teasing. Annabeth didn't know what to say so she just smiled back at him. After an awkward silence he cleared his throat again and said, "So what can I get you?"

"A green tea please." He nodded and wrote it down.

"Is there anything else you'd like?" Annabeth ordered a croissant for Piper and thanked him. after he left she continued her work.

..........

The next week Annabeth visited the Cafe yet again. Her visit wasn't unpleasant the last time, the green tea was delicious, Piper enjoyed her croissant, and the employees, (or at least the one she got) seemed nice. Annabeth walked inside and pulled her headphones out, she couldn't stop listening to Paramore's new song. She asked for a table and sat down. Suddenly Annabeth saw the same face as she had last week. Black hair, green eyes, goofy grin, he needed a name. She decided to name him Coffee Guy. Coffee Guy smiled and said,

"Ah you're back again." Annabeth was stunned.

How did he remember her? She smiled, "Yeah, how do you remember me?" He shrugged,

"Good memory I guess, so what can I get you?" Annabeth tucked her hair behind her ears, she hated wearing it down.

"Just a green tea again."

"So like, what's your name book girl?" He asked while writing the simple green tea order down. Annabeth raised her eyebrows. "Book girl?"

"Ah yes, that's my nickname for you until you tell me what your actual name is." She laughed out loud. It was funnier to her because she did the same thing by calling him his nickname. Coffee Guy looked amused and happy that she laughed. "Sorry, it's just funny because in my mind you're Coffee Guy." He chuckled.

"Well it seems we do have something common. I hate reading, and whatever you were working on your computer didn't look that fun, but we do have the same sense of humor." Annabeth rolled her eyes. "oh great."She said sarcastically.

"Well, my name is Percy."

"Annabeth" Percy had a twinkle in his eyes.

"Well, I suppose I should get you your tea Annabeth." She leaned back, something about Percy made her feel at ease, Annabeth could picture them being best friends one day. "Thank you very much, Percy." He gave her a broad smile and walked away. As he was walking away he gave her a stupid little wave. Annabeth laughed, did they really  have the same sense of humor.
