Logan took a seat at the dining room table and started eating his food there. Cassidy looked at him and wondered what was troubling him so badly. Cassidy picked up the cat, the newest addition to their family, and went upstairs into Logan's room. "Why do I feel like he's angry because of me?" Cassidy asked the cat. The cat looked at her and meowed. Cassidy pulled the cat to her chest and held it tight. Later that night, Logan slept on the couch while everyone else slept in their own rooms. At 3:00 a.m; Logan woke up and began walking around a little bit. He couldn't think straight so he walked outside and sat down in his chair on the porch. "Life keeps getting more and more difficult by the second." Logan said to himself. It's been two years since Logan nearly died by the hands of victor and yet it still haunts him to this day. Logan didn't go back to sleep that night, his anxiety prevented him from going back to sleep that night. The time was now 6:00 a.m and Logan was outside chopping up wood while everyone else was asleep. Thirty minutes later, Laura finally woke up. The first thing she did was go downstairs to check on Logan. She noticed that Logan wasn't on the couch but she didn't stress about it to much and went back upstairs and did her normal morning routine: take a shower, get dress, brushed her teeth, take her pills that help her with her anger. Once she finished her morning routine, she went outside to see if Logan was there. "Your up early. Why?" Asked Laura. Logan turned around and threw the axe into the ground. "Had some trouble sleeping last night. Where are the others?"
"Still sleeping."
"You wanna prepare breakfast for everyone?" Logan asked Laura. Laura nodded her head and went back inside to prepare breakfast. Logan sat down on the bench in his back yard and just looked down at his hand, which were shaking violently and had blood stains on them. Logan worried about Laura, she didn't want her to end up like him but he didn't know how to stop that from happening. The time was now 8:00 a.m and Shaun and Cassidy have just woken up from their sleep. "Morning cass, how was your sleep?" Shaun asked Cassidy. "Eh, could've been better." 
"Well, you could've always came into my room and you could slept next to me." 
"Haha, very funny, Shaun but that's not gonna happen." Said Cassidy. After Shaun and Cassidy were done with their morning routine, they both went downstairs and saw Laura in the kitchen just finishing breakfast. "Hey, Laura, what are you making?" Asked Cassidy. "Pancakes, scramble eggs, bacon, and sausages." Laura responded. "Can't wait to eat some but, Laura, where's your father?" Asked Cassidy. Laura pointed to the back door. Cassidy walked outside to check on Logan. She went up to him and sat next to him on the bench. "You slept on the couch last night. Is everything alright, Logan?" Cassidy asked Logan. Logan turned around and stared into Cassidy's eyes, "just been out of it for the past few days that's all." Logan responded. Cassidy looked at Logan's facial expressions and instantly knew what was bothering him. "It's your father isn't it?" Cassidy asked. Logan looked back at Cassidy. "I can't stop thinking about what he did. And now I fear that one day, I'll be in the same position he was back then." 
"Logan, i know that you will never abandon your family. For the past two years you have been a great father to Laura. I know Shaun living here can be awkward but you've done a great job of ignoring him. Try not to dwell on it, Logan." Said Cassidy. Logan nodded his head slowly. "Good, now go inside and get cleaned up, you kinda look like a wolverine." Cassidy said, as she laughed and walked away from Logan. Logan turned around and laughed a little as well. After Logan took a shower and got new pair of clothes on, he went downstairs to find everyone eating breakfast. "Ah, Logan, I presume you had a goodnight sleep right?" Shaun asked Logan. "It could have been better."
"How so?" 
"I don't wanna talk about it." 
"Come on, Logan, tell us what's......"
"I said I don't wanna talk about it!" Logan yelled at Shaun. Laura chuckled a little from what just happened. Logan got his breakfast from the kitchen and went out to living room to sit and eat with the others. "So, what's the plan for today?" Asked Shaun. "We're running low on fuel supplies and we're still at a shortage of our food supplies so that's gonna have to be a priority." Explained Cassidy. "Wait why do we need fuel?"
"So we can use the car to get to places faster."
Said Logan. "So, Laura and Logan, you two will go out and get the food and fuel supplies. Me and Shaun will go searching for food for the cat." Explained Cassidy. Everyone else nodded their head.
