Today is the day Kara finally goes back to Catco. And I'm honestly really nervous. I would have to take care of Mia all by myself.
She's been having weird power surges, where she'll actually accidentally destroy a part of our apartment.
Mia is more powerful than Kara and I combined. Plus she has way more powers than the both of us. So it can be super unpredictable.
And it's gonna be harder keeping this life away from we than I thought...

After about two minutes, I'm finally ready to go.
"Mon-El! I'm gone! And please don't let Mia destroy our apartment!" I yell from the door.
I hear him groan from our room, which makes me chuckle to myself. I kiss Mia on the forehead, and then I finally leave.
At Catco...
I walk out the elevator to see everyone, you guessed it, staring at me...
"How come every time I enter the building people start staring at me." I mumble.
"Well, maybe it's because you keep taking month long breaks." Someone snaps. And that someone is Snapper...
"Why'd you have to leave this time, more family business?" He remarks. I'm surprised Cat didn't tell him...
"Well, are you going to answer me or not?" He commented.
Ugh, it's gonna be harder telling him than I thought...
"Well.." "-Keira! Get in my office now!" Cat interrupted.
"Thank goodness..." I mumble while walking over to Cat's office.
"How is the baby?" Cat asks me almost instantly.
"She's a handful." I sigh while laughing.
"Oh! Do you want to see a picture of her?" I ask her. "Why not?" She replies.
So I pull out my phone and I show her a picture of her in a Supergirl costume.

"Cute." Cat smiles. "Well, I'll get out of your hair." I chuckle.
So I turn towards the door to see Snapper right in front of it, which makes me jump.
"Did you hear any of that conversa-" "No ponytail, I have better things to do than eavesdrop." He pressed.
I left the office, as Snapper went in to talk to Cat.
I walked over to my desk, pulled out my laptop, and got to work.

I get into the office, but I'm not focused. My mind is focused on that baby I found in the park. And I can't do this anymore. So I'm going to ask her about situation.
"Smith, what's the situation with the girl?" I asked.
"We found her parents..." he states.
My heart sunk when I heard her say that.
"Her mother is in prison, and she'll be released in 16 years.. And no one can find her father. Not his parents, not her mother. No one. So she'll probably be put up for adoption for a little while." He states. After he said that, I regained a little hope.
I nodded my head, and walked away with a grin on my face.

I wake up about two hours after Kara left to see a very nice looking apartment. "I guessing Mia is being good today." I chuckle.
After giving her a bottle, I go to the kitchen and make myself some pancakes. I put Mia in her high chair which is next to my seat and I start eating the pancakes.
But as I was eating them, Mia used her heat vision and incinerated them..
I am not going to be able to do this alone. So I'll do the next best thing...
I'm bringing her to the DEO, and she can play in one of the containment cells!
So I grab Mia and all of her stuff and I walk her to the DEO.
At the DEO...
"Hello, guys do not mind me! Everything is okay!" I announced as I walked in there.
"I thought you guys didn't want Mia wrapped up in this..." J'onn stated.
"Shhhh..." I say awkwardly.
I take Mia to one of the containment cells and I sit her down inside and I close the door, making sure it's unlocked.
A few hours later...
I look at my arm to see the time. It obviously doesn't work. I don't understand why humans do that...
So I'm just assuming it's almost time for Kara to come home, so I have to get us back to the apartment.
So I grab all of the stuff, and I leave.

I've been waiting at the apartment for about 3 hours for Mon-El. I have no clue where he is, and he left his phone here.
I was about to go look around for him, when he walked in the door with Mia.
"Where were you?!" "Oh, uh.. I was at the place, and you know, I just track of time." He stutters.
I smack the back of his and Mia starts giggling.
As she was laughing bubbles started appearing in the air. And Alex told me what happens when she does this...
So I get her into a muffled part of the apartment.
The bubbles started to form into a large one. And then it popped.
As it popped it made a large boom that could be heard three blocks over.
The loud noise made Mia start crying, which made everything worse.
I look outside the window to see a hurricane start forming, in a field near my apartment.
