"Today, we are learning how to enchant your magic to an object. Did you all bring a piece of jewellery?" Princess Arabella, the magic teacher asks. The four of us had brought along with us simple silver bands.

"Now, think of something you'd like to enchant your item of jewellery with," she begins, her voice soothing and relaxing as we sit in the calming room. She points at Iona.

"Perhaps, you could enchant that necklace with the ability to teleport to the palace to a shifter who can't teleport."

"What? So they put the necklace on and are suddenly at the palace?" Iona asks.

"That's also what you've got to think about. How do you release the magic? You could make it so that they have put on the necklace or they have to break the charm. It's up to you," Princess Arabella tells her. She looks over to Eric next.

"Perhaps you could enchant your ring so that whoever wears it turns into stone." Eric smiles and clutches the plain silver band.

"Think about your powers and what you can do with them to come up with an idea. You can work on your own or even pairs if you'd like," she smiles. "Once you've thought of an idea, focus on your magic and how it flows through you. Think of how it feels as it rushes through your veins. Then imagine that piece of jewellery being another part of you. Let the magic flow into it and bind to it. Once the magic is into the jewellery, we will then focus on how and when the magic will work. Begin."

"Isla," Toryn says from next to me. "I have an idea," he smiles.

"What?" I ask.

"Let's mix our water and fire like we've practised before. We can make it into a small ball and have it floating on the bracelets like a charm." I smile.

"So we can enchant the bracelet to never let the water overpower fire or fire overpower water," I say. He nods his head.

"Let's do this," I tell him.

We start by making a ball of water and fire. the two swirl and mix together in perfect harmony. We then shrink it so that it is small enough to float above the bracelet but look like it's a charm. Together, we move the ball into the right place.

"The bracelet is part of us," I whisper to Toryn. "Feel the magic fill our veins, feel the energy. Let it flow through the bracelet." Taking a deep breath I close my eyes. Both Toryn and I hold the bracelet. I imagine my water powers in my mind. Imagine my veins running blue and white as the magic fills me. I imagine it flowing into the bracelet in waves and swirls. I can feel Toryn's magic too as it flows into the bracelet. We weave our magic together in the bracelet. I Open my eyes and see the ball of water and fire floating a centimetre from the bracelet.
