Before this chapter starts! I don't hate Kim this was just an idea. Proof of that being that if GarDenza doesn't happen I'd be alright with GarIm happening.
👗Cadenza's P.O.V👗
Today I'm out shopping for new materials as I have started to do freelance work and am planning to open my own shop. Luckily for me, the shop next to Lucinda's Witchcraft store shut down and is now on sale so I'm planning on setting up my business in there.
The materials are needed as I have 3 clients wanting their garments by the end of next week. Today is one of those days where I'm actually glad that it's a Monday as it means I have almost the full two weeks.
As I walk out of Hobbycraft, (A/N: It's a craft store if you couldn't already guess. It has materials and art supplies) I notice Garroth coming out of the food court.
I'm about to walk over to say hello when I notice another girl walk out behind him and by the looks of things they came here together.
The girl has long brown and blonde hair and is wearing a green jumper with blue jeans.
I watch from across the mall as she taps on his shoulder and points across the mall near me. They then walk over to Forever 21 and go inside.
I decide to follow them in as if they see me in there I can just say I was clothes shopping or looking for inspiration for my next designs.
When I walk in I see them near the back and I hide behind one of the rails nearby to them and pretend to be looking at the clothes hung on the racks.
"Garroth, look at this one! What do you think?" The girl says excitedly as I notice her pick up a beautiful looking green dress which ends at the knees. It has a satin bow at the waist and is sleeveless.
"It looks beautiful Kimmy, you should go and try it on to see if it fits." Garroth answers.
I swear, at that moment my heart broke into a million pieces. Kimmy? Who is that.
Wait a second...is she the girl that Laurance recently got in touch with that went to high school with us. That's it! She must be! Her name is Kim after all.
I decide to leave the shop, tears brimming in my eyes, before leaving and heading home.
I find a bench outside next to the park and sit there to calm myself down for a while.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Breath I-
"Cadenza is that you?!" An all too familiar voice shouts from down the street. Garroth.
He comes rushing over and sits next to me whilst his 'friend' Kim stands next to the bench.
"Are you okay?" She asks. "You look as if you've been crying."
I look up at her, even more tears brimming in my eyes.
"I saw you two in forever 21. I heard your nickname for her Garroth. I heard you say the dress she picked was beautiful. If pure cheating on me with her you might as well tell me the truth now." I respond, somehow managing to hold back my tears.
"Cheating! No! Kim and I were out shopping to buy her a new dress for your grand opening!" Garroth explains.
"Grand opening. But I haven't..." I ponder. "No! You didn't!" I exclaim excitedly and Garroth nods his head.
"You bought the shop for me!" I shout and hug Garroth and he hugs back.
"Sorry if I caused confusion." Kim says sheepishly. I stop hugging Garroth and look up to face her.
"No, it's okay. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions like that. It's not your fault she don't blame yourself."
"Thank you." She replies and I hold out my hand towards her.
"Friends?" I ask.
"Friends." She replies and we shake hands.
I'm glad to have met her. She seems like a great person.
