"You need to do something. How about we go grocery shopping or something?" Liam suggested.

"Okay." I shrugged. We got ready quickly and left.

"Have you talked to Michael since that incident on his porch?" Liam questioned.

"Once." I answered. He nodded.

When we got to the store, Liam immediately led me to the bakery section.

"What kind of junk food do you want?" He questioned, picking up a box of assorted cookies.

"I don't care." I replied.

"Pick something." He said. I sighed, choosing cupcakes.

"Good." He smiled. I smiled back.

We kept walking around the store, picking out random things, and a few things Liam was out of.

As we were getting garlic bread, I heard a familiar laugh.

My eyes flashed to Liam, who was looking at me, as well.

"Louis?" Harry asked.

"Hi." I awkwardly said.

"Hey." He smiled.

"Where's Ashton?" I wondered.

"He's at home. He wanted to stay home and clean." Harry replied. I nodded.

"That's nice." I said, though I didn't care.

"Yeah, he's really nice and caring." Harry laughed. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

"We've gotta go, we have to finish shopping and get back home." Liam interrupted.

"Do you guys live together?" Harry assumed.

"No. Though it wouldn't be your business if we did." Liam snapped.

"Liam." I softly scolded.

"We have to go." Liam said, tugging me along to a different aisle.

"Thank you. I was very uncomfortable." I told him.

"I could tell." He responded.

"Louis?" He asked.

"Yeah?"

"C- can I talk to you when we get back to my house?" He questioned. I nodded.

"Of course." I agreed.

"Thanks." He sounded a little bit nervous.
