Jason hadn't seen Piper in a little more than a year. After the whole island mishap, the two of them had had a very long and excruciating conversation on the boat that ended with their break-up and Piper cursing him out. She couldn't seem to understand that no, he wasn't gay, he just fell in love with someone else and didn't wanna label himself.

To this day he had never really felt attraction to another man. He appreciated the handsomeness of others but never felt the desire he felt with Nico. Those feeling that built at his pelvis were reserved for the son of Hades and women, which he hadn't sought out in a while.

He hoped that having her stay with them could help repair their relationship a little. He might not want to date her anymore but the two of them used to be great friends. He missed her quirky humor and funny insight.

Jason nervous cleaned. He wasn't quite a neat freak, but he definitely liked to have things in order. Nico was the opposite, and that occasionally caused clashes between them but they always got over it. So when Nico woke up to find his boyfriend vacuuming the still fairly clean carpet, he just rolled his eyes and walked to the kitchen.

"Good morning. It's already past noon." Jason said, turning the vacuum off.

"Mm"

"Piper flies in today."

"I know," the slam of a cabinet.

"I'm gonna pick her up around 4. Do you wanna come with?"

Nico turned around to face him. "What? You're picking her up?"

"Well, yeah. She doesn't really have a ride. I'm gonna use my car." Jason frowned, failing to see what the problem was. He had a bike and an old car he had used before Leo helped him build up the motorcycle.

"Right. So you're cleaning for her, picking her up...anything else?" Nico raised an eyebrow.

Jason groaned loudly and turned to put the vacuum away. "She's sleeping on the couch! Excuse me for trying to make it semi-presentable. Nico, just because we broke up doesn't mean I have to be rude. Please do not be like this. You're being unfairly jealous."

Nico sat down at the island and sulked at his cereal. "I'm not. You're being too...Jason-y."

"What does that even mean?!" He sighed in exasperation and grabbed his keys, "Whatever. I'm gonna go buy groceries. I hope by the time I get back you've gotten over your insecurities."

"I'm not insecure!" Jason heard him call out as the door shut but he just kept walking. He didn't understand what the problem was. He was just trying to help a friend out and Nico was being over dramatic. They had never really had this problem before so Jason wasn't quite sure how to deal with it. Hopefully, Nico would get over soon.

Pushing Nico aside, he focused on trying to remember the things Piper ate. Lots of vegetables, tofu patties, he wandered around whole foods looking for vegetarian friendly meals. His and Nico's diet was definitely not the healthiest, and most definitely not vegetarian friendly. Jason wasn't sure if there were even any leafy greens in the fridge at all.

Next thing he knew, it was already 3:00 and he had to go straight to the airport. He was a little nervous to see her but hoped everything went over smoothly.

Jason hadn't been to an airport in ages. He had forgotten the mindless waiting you had to do at the gate while waiting for the people to come out. Thankfully though, he didn't have to wait long. He had only been waiting 15 minutes when he spied Piper coming.

He wasn't sure what to do. Should they hug? The hadn't really ended things on good terms. He settled for just a hello and carrying her luggage. "Piper!" He called, waving at her.
