Ella's POV. 
                          
 Ella sat at a computer at Star Labs waiting for Barry to get back. He had just stopped a bank robbery. The night before she and Barry had gone on date to go bowling. Iris and Eddie happened to be there and they double dated. Ella noticed though that Iris was acting different towards Barry. She kept flirting with him. Barry of course didn't notice, but Eddie did. Ella wondered if Iris had feelings for Barry.
                          
Just then a rush of wind made Ella's hair blow in front of her face. She looked over to the middle of the room. There stood the Flash or Barry. "Well, that was fun." He smiled. 
                          
Ella smiled and over to him. "Good job, Barry or should I say, Flash." She joked. He smiled at her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Thanks, but right now I'm just Barry. Your Barry." She smiled. He kissed her. "Oh, please! No PDA in the lab! Seriously!" Cisco shouted in disgust. Ella laughed and pulled away from Barry. "I'll see you later. I gotta go to work. By guys!" Ella waved and walked out. 
                          
Ella walked into the CCPN. She sat down at her desk and began writing about the Flash. A young man who Ella had gotten to know, named Scott came over to her. He smiled at her. "Hey. So...I actually wanted to ask you something a few weeks ago. I was actually on my way to your apartment to return this file to you, but I saw a guy walking to the door and decided not to interrupt. But...I was going to ask you something that day and-" She cut him of. "I understand. So? Tell me what you were going to ask me." She smiled. 
                          
He nervously laughed. "Well, I was wondering if...you know your a really nice girl and...well I was wondering if you'd like to go grab some coffee sometime?" Ella looked awkwardly at him. She actually was attracted to him before, but she was with Barry now. She also realized it must have been Barry who he saw walking to her door. That's was the day Barry had helped her decorate for Christmas. 
                          
"Oh. Scott, I'm flattered, but...I have a boyfriend." She told him. He smiled awkwardly and nodded. "Of course. It's fine. Your boyfriends a lucky a guy. What's his name?" He asked. She smiled kindly at Scott. "Barry. Barry Allen. He works at the CCPD." She told him. He nodded. "Ah. A police officer." He concluded. She shook her head. "No. Forensic Scientist, actually." She corrected. "Oh. Even better. Well...I'll just go now. See ya around." He smiled. She smiled back and got on with her work.
                          
Later that day she went to Star Labs to see if Barry's as there, but he hadn't come from work. She decided to stay and help out with Caitlyn. She was on her way with Doctor Wells to have coffee so Ella joined them. Apparently Cisco needed Wells out of the building to check a theory he had about him. Ella honestly never had trusted Wells. When they got back Wells disappeared. Caitlyn and Ella retired to their work, but they both agreed he had acted strangely. As if he had known what they were up to. 
                          
Barry's POV.
                          
Barry was at his house and saw Iris on the phone. She had confronted him earlier about Doctor Wells and how she thought something was off about him. She got off the phone and seemed worried. "Dads not answering his phone. I hope he's okay." "I'm sure he's fine." Barry answered. He knew that Joe would be careful with Mark out there, especially after the attempt on his life earlier. 
                          
"So...how is it going between you and Ella?" She slightly sang her name. "Why are you saying her name like that?" Barry sighed and asked her. "What do you mean? Like what?" Iris asked cluelessly. Barry rolled his eyes. "You said her name the way you always did, my first girlfriend's name, remember? Becky Cooper." He sang impersonating Iris. 
                          
She scoffed and went over to the couch. "Okay. You can't blame me. In my defense Becky Cooper was terrible first girlfriend. You should have never dated her." She told him, smiling. 
Barry nodded. "I agree, but that still doesn't explain why your saying Ella's name that way. She's not anything like Becky Cooper. Ella's been our friend since... forever." Barry said. "I know." Iris avoided the question.
