You walked home and your dad wasn't home yet. You had some time still. You went to your room and made sure that you had restocked your first aid kit. After checking that you sat on the window seal in your room and started singing along to the music.

Heading back home

Boarding a plane

Like an

Old ghost thought I heard your name

And my

Heart stopped, skipped a beat for one second

Turned around

But who was I kidding?

Just a sweet girl

Is she hear to save me?

Will I finally get to move on, maybe?

Quick drink

So that I can move closer

Ask her name

Hoping for a closure

So this is what it's like to be lonely?

Spending every minute thinking 'bout you

But looking for somebody else to hold me

Only hoping they will know me like you do

Get out of my mind for a moment

You took my heart and marked it like a tattoo

They say that time will heal like a potion

But time has only got me missing more of you

Of you

(Lonely, Lonely)

(Lonely, Lonely)

It's been a few months

And not much has changed

Still check my phone

To see if your name's on it

Drive pass the places we use to go

Our song keeps spinning on the radio

And I know I sound a little cliche

But I never thought that things could change

So please

Don't forget me when the summer fades

All while

I'll be trying to replace your face

So this is what it's like to be lonely?

Spending every minute thinking 'bout you

But looking for somebody else to hold me

Only hoping they will know me like you do

Get out of my mind for a moment

You took my heart and marked it like a tattoo

They say that time will heal like a potion

But time has only got me missing more of you

Of you

(Lonely, Lonely)

(This is what it's like to be)

(Lonely, Lonely)

(This is what it's like to be lonely)

All

I want

Is for you

to know

That I'm sor-

ry for

All the things I did and didn't do

All

I want

Is for you

to know

That I'm sor-

ry for

All the things I did and didn't do

If I call you up in the middle of the night

If I send you a text asking

"How is your life?"

It's just me checking in insecure

Wondering if I exist anymore

If I say something and I started a fight

Between you and yours

Yeah I'll act so surprised

Surprised

Surprised

I'll need a little time

So this is what it's like to be lonely?

Spending every minute thinking 'bout you

But looking for somebody else to hold me

Only hoping they will know me like you do

Get out of my mind for a moment

You took my heart and marked it like a tattoo

They say that time will heal like a potion

But time has only got me missing more of you

Of you

(Lonely, Lonely)

(Lonely)

(Lonely, Lonely)

(This is what it's like to be lonely)

(Lonely)

"(Y/n)! I'm home!" your dad yelled.

"Welcome home," you said walking down the stairs.

He looked at you glaring. "Come here." he demanded and you did knowing if you didn't it would be worse. He punched you and you fell to the floor with a mark the would give you a black eye. "Stand up!" he yelled and kicked your stomach. You coughed up blood but still stood up. "That's a good girl." he said caressing your cheek with the knife he had grabbed.

He cut your cheek, arms, legs, and across you stomach. "You've been a good girl. You can go now," he told you after finishing a cut. (I'm so mean.) You went to your room and started putting bandages, disinfectant, and medical tape all over your body. You sighed after finishing. This was an everyday thing for you.

"(Y/n)! Someone's here to see you!" your father yelled and you found it strange. You walked downstairs and saw Nathaniel.
