“Cas?” The quiver in Dean’s voice was obvious. He stared at the blue-eyed angel, “You’re alive?”

“Better. Close your eyes!” Yelled Castiel as he exploded into a bright, white light covering the entire room.

Peeking his eyes open as he felt the warm, comforting light retreat, Dean saw all the Crots had disappeared along with Lucifer, Jean, and the villagers.

“Cas, what’s going on?” Sam asked, picking himself up from the ground.

With no explanation, Castiel grabbed both Sam and Dean and zapped them outside, landing near the Impala. Unfortunately for Dean, he wasn’t so graceful in his landing as he landed on top of his precious Baby.

“Dammit Cas!” Dean exclaimed as he rolled off the roof and landed on his feet like a cat.

“Sorry, I’m still unstable. Although I must say, it didn’t go as bad as I thought it would.” Castiel said casually without a change in his tone, looking around the area.

“Not as bad? Are you saying we could have exploded?” Sam said half-jokingly, but that smile faded as he noticed Castiel’s staring at him with a grim face. “Seriously?”

“We… I needed to come back with my wings strapped, to get you two out.” Putting air quotes as he spoke, Castiel tried to explain things slowly.

“Wait Cas, what are you talking about?”

The trenchcoat angel sighed, “This isn’t real. This place? We are in...your heads. More accurately, in Jean’s.”

“What--uh--excuse me--what?” Dean stuttered, why the hell were they in that psychopath’s mind?

Realizing that this wasn’t going to go anywhere, Castiel touched both of their foreheads and the Winchesters stumbled back absorbing the information.

“Son of a bitch.” Dean caught himself on the Impala, nearly face planting himself into his Baby.

“W-we um… need to find Jean.” Sam said holding his head. His brain was starting to feel like jello.

Shaking his head, Castiel pointed at the brothers, “I need to get you two out. While I still have enough power.” He grabbed both Winchesters and soon they landed in a hospital. Correction, the Winchesters shot up from their hospital beds panting.

“What the hell…” Dean looked around the room and swung his legs over, before he could get up he was slammed with his past memories.

“You too?” Asked Sam as he held his head, the memories hitting him about the same time it hit Dean. “Where’s Cas?”

“Here.” A voice called out weakly from the floor.

Sam and Dean raced over to where they heard the voice, Castiel was struggling to stand up. “Cas? What happened to you?”

“Getting out of Jean’s head, it proved much more difficulty than I presumed.” Castiel wiped the bit of blood that flowed out of his nose. “I’ll be fine. Go to room 221.”

Casting another look at Castiel, Sam and Dean moved quickly into the hallway. “Where’s room 221?” Dean asked one of the nurses who was passing by.

“Down the hall on your right.” She answered before briskly walking away. Dean stole a glance at her retreating figure before he was pulled away by Sam.

Coming upon the door 221, Sam and Dean shared a look before opening the door cautiously. Upon entering, they noticed the small girl in the bed, with only the machines keeping her alive.
