I'm a Teenage Father

I got my phone from the floor and stuck it in my pocket.
"What's wrong? Is everything alright?" Santana asked.
"No, no, everything is NOT alright. I have to go." I said. I got up and Santana stood up.
"Um, okay. How long are we going to be?" she asked.
We? "Um, Santana, you can't come."
"Why not?" she asked, puzzled. God, what excuse can I make.
"My...sister is in the hospital and I have to go see her. NOW." I said.
"I want to come." Santana said. I looked at her. She looked like she really cared. I didn't know what to say to her.
I nodded. "Okay."
We headed off to the hospital. I got to emergency room and I ran to the front desk. I asked for Zoey's name and they said they already put her in the pediatric area. I ran to the elevator, Santana trailing behind me.
All I could think was, I shouldn't have left, I shouldn't have left.
We got to the floor and I ran to the front desk. I asked for Zoey and they pointed me to her room. I ran to the room and I ran in. I saw Valen and he was sitting on the chair. Matt was on his lap. I looked at the bed and I saw Zoey, her face all wet and red. I came up to Valen.
"What happened?" I asked/growled. Valen took Matt off his lap and he pulled me to the side.
"Well, I was making some more coffee and all the sudden, Matt tells me Zoey fell. I run out there. I thought she tripped or something. I picked her up and she was feeling very hot. That's when I called you. The doctor hasn't come back yet. She just got pulled into this room." Valen explained.
Zoey is sick? How? She was feeling totally fine earlier.
"Mr. Shane?" I turned around and a lady strolled in. Wow. I knew it took a few years to be a doctor but damn. This lady knows how to look 20 when she's possibly 40. I looked at Santana and she kinda glared at the doctor.
"Yeah?" Valen and I answered.
"So, I what we found out is Zoey has a Kidney Infection. It'll take a couple of days for her to recover. For now, we'll just let her sleep. She is having a temperature but we'll give her some Tylenol for that." I nodded and then the doctor left. I heard about Kidney Infections. I know Zoey will get through this. I walked over to Zoey and brushed her hair out of her face. Her eyes were closed and her skin was on fire. I didn't want to but I let a tear run down my face. Looking at Zoey, it made me shake all inside. I never knew it would be this scary. Seeing your own child in the hospital, it was like nothing else mattered in the world.
I felt a hand go on my shoulder. I looked to see it was Santana. I wiped my tear away.
"Hey, she's going to be alright. I know it." Santana said.
"Santana, I think you should go now. I don't want to be like this in front of you." I said. I looked straight into Santana's eyes. Her eyes were sparkling. I had to tell her. I had to tell her what Zoey is to me.
"Allstar, it's okay. I want to be here with you." she said. I took her hand and held it in mind. I was so scared. I never thought Zoey would ever go into a hospital again.
"Let's go get something to drink. You look like you're going to pass out." Santana said. I didn't want to leave but Santana was right. I felt like I was going to pass out. I walked with Santana to the nearest Starbucks. I ordered my Passion Iced Tea (sweetened of course) and Santana got a regular Iced Tea. We sat down at the table and we didn't talk for a few seconds.
"Allstar, what is it your not telling me?" Santana asked. I looked over at her. Her eyes were sparkling and I knew she knew something was up.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"I feel like your leaving out something. I mean, I told you everything about me. I feel like, still...you don't trust me." Santana said. I still looked at her when she turned away. She knew something was missing. She didn't know Zoey was my daughter.
"I do trust you. I don't know what you're talking about." I lied. Santana looked disappointed. She looked at her watch.
"Well, it's getting a bit late. Thanks for um, taking me out I guess." Santana said with a little tone. I groaned quietly as she walked passed me. I got up from my seat and I left my iced tea there. I jogged up to Santana and turned her around so I could fully see her. She looked at me like 'I thought you didn't trust me' look. I sighed deeply.
"Yeah, there is something I'm not telling you Santana." I admitted. Santana was fully focusing on me.
"Can't you tell me?" Santana asked, pleading. I looked at her and I knew I could trust her but I couldn't at the same time.
"If I tell you, I'm afraid you won't be...interested in me anymore." I said slowly.
"Is that what you think? That I won't be interested in you anymore? That's impossible." Santana whispered only for me to hear. I looked beyond her now.
"It's just...I REALLY like you. I like you so much that I want you officially in my life. It's just after I admit one detail, I feel like you won't like me anymore." Wait, she said it was IMPOSSIBLE?
"I like you, Allstar. I want to say I love you but I'm afraid to because of what you might say to me. Other way, I want you to tell me. You have to know that I won't let you go unless you have some other girl." Santana stated.
"Santana, I think I DO love you." I looked away from Santana. I looked back at her. Her eyes searched mine. I knew she knew I was honest, I pulled her towards me and I kissed her to prove it. Her and my lips were like missing pieces to a puzzle. The puzzle was complete now. Everything flew out of me and lights I never knew of shined before me when I broke away from her.
"Tell me." Santana whispered.
I hesitated. Santana gave me one more kiss and I looked straight into her eyes. She searched my eyes to as I tried to make good words. I looked at her long enough that she turned into an angel.
I let myself slip.
"Zoey is my daughter."
