Mr. Matthews raced towards the hospital right when Jordan and I were leaving.
"I guess I was too late." he said as soon as he saw us.
"Hey." Jordan said. Mr. Matthews noticed the golden envelope in her hand. His face fell in defeat.
"No!" he said.
"It's a shame. You missed the whole thing, Mr. Matthews. My first battle against the demons!" announced Jordan.
