(A/N: Yay! I'm actually getting to write my own fic! Again, sorry if this is cheezy or I write some of the guys out of character, I'm just starting out. Also Idk if I'm actually going to continue this, maybe if people like it I will)
It was a cloudy Friday evening in the early Autumn time. Graham had just hopped off the bus with his old sports bag and started walking down the road.
He had been invited to hang out at his best friend's, Damon's, house for the weekend along with their other friends, Alex and Dave. Despite being friends with Damon for 5 to 6 years, Graham had never slept at Damon's house. Sure, he had hung out at Damon's house more times than he could count, and had done things that could get him in serious trouble, but he never had slept over.
Graham was excited, he had always wanted to sleep over at his friend's house and since all of his friends were there, they could talk about their idea for a band they had for awhile. He had packed some clothes he could wear, some films to watch including; Shaun of the Dead, The Shining, and that "Pokeman" movie with those cool and cute looking monster things. Though he was excited, he knew Damon would probably invite his girlfriend Justine, or was she his ex? He honestly didnt know anymore due to them breaking up and getting back together so much.
It was only a few minutes before Graham made it to the small, yet somewhat cozy terraced house. He walked up the 2 small steps and rang the doorbell, and it wasn't even a fraction of a second before the door swung open to reveal his, be it sloppy looking, friend Damon.
"FINALLY! I though you'd never arrive!" Damon exclaimed, with a bit of sarcasm in his voice. "But......I'm early?" Graham responded, a bit confused. "Pffh, well it felt like a long time" Damon said, moving his body out of the way to let Graham in the door. As Damon shut the door, Graham gently put his bag down and began to take off his jacket, which was when Damon crouched down and started searching through his bag.
"You bring any films?" Damon asked, trying to shuffle through the clothes that were placed at the top. "Yeah, three of them!" Graham said, and when he turned around to help Damon find them, he saw that Damon had just pulled the films out from the rektage. "Here we go! Now lets see, Shaun of the Dead, The Shining and.....REALLY? That Pokingman thing?" Damon said, in almost a mocking way as he saw the third film. "What? The monsters look cool!" Graham responded. "Yeah, maybe for kids. But not for almost adults, like us" Damon said, again in an almost mocking fashion. Graham only pouted a bit before walking into the front room.
"So where's the rest of the guys?" Graham inquired. It was silent. "Um, what?" Damon asked, in an very confused tone. "You know, Alex and Dave?". Again silence. "Oh yeah, those two. Well um..." Damon, again, was as quiet as a mouse, as if he had forgotten about those guys entirely. "They, uh, canceled last minute." "Aw, really? Why?" Graham was puzzled, didn't Damon have this all planned out for 2 weeks? "Um, well Alex got...a date! And Dave went fishing with his dad and I didn't hear about it until a few hours ago". Graham was a bit suspicious, how could Damon forget something like that in a few hours? However, as he didn't want to ruin the weekend with his suspiction, he shrugged it off as Damon being Damon.
Damon through the box for Shaun of the Dead over to Graham. "Here put this in the player as I made us some food". Graham did as he was asked and put in the disc. He went over to the sofa to grab the remote to the tv, when he noticed all the blankets and the duvet on it. He didn't think much of it, only thinking that that would be his make-shift bed for the weekend. He sat down on the sofa, grabbed the remote and turned on the telly, switching it over to the dvd player. He could hear Damon cooking something in the microwave in the small kitchen, what it was he couldn't tell. Damon ran at the speed of sound across the living room, and closed the blinds and curtains before running back into the kitchen.
As the microwave binged, Graham had little time to react as Damon threw two bottle of cola to him along with a few plastic cups. He had even less time to react as Damon jumped onto the sofa next to him with big box of mircowavable popcorn that was stinking of butter, and snatched the remote out of his hands to start the film.Though, Graham noticed something wasn't quite as it usually was. As Damon never sat right next to Graham, or anyone when he watched movie. He would always sit at least one seat away from someone unless he was dating that person. Damon seemed really excited to the film, almost too excited. Like he was forcing it. Graham tried to ignore it, but he would be reminded of it everytime Damon moved and their shoulders rubbed together. Graham felt something everytime this happened, but......he couldn't figure out what it was.
Graham quite enjoyed the film, but it seemed to last longer than he remembered. He couldn't stop thinking about how close Damon was and how he felt about it. But before he knew it, the credits were already over and Damon was gone to take a piss. "You can go upstairs and get changed or go to bed if ya want." Damon shouted to Graham from the loo, as he was just sitting there doing nothing. Graham thought this was a bit, off, but he didn't think much about it, and made his way upstairs to his best friend's room with his bag.
As he entered the room, he noticed something. Apart from the random sheets and dirty shirts, there was nothing on the wooden floor. Now this made Graham suspicious again, why would Damon tell him to go upstairs? Why would tell him if there wasn't anywhere to sleep? What even was happening anymore? He got changed into his pjs, which were just a pair of boxers and some shirt he picked out, and sat down on the bed to think about what was going on. He didn't intend on sitting there too long, but time seemed to have other plans.
Before he knew it, he heard the bedroom door open and close and Damon walked in. "Um, Damon?" Graham asked. "Yeah, Gra?" Damon responded. "Where's my bed? You didn't tell me to bring a sleeping bag and I don't know if you have one or not." There was an awkward silence, but then Damon smirked. "Well, you're sitting on it." Graham froze, "Wh-what?" "You're sitting on where you're going to sleep" "Then where are going to sleep? Downstairs?" Damon's smirk just grew even larger, as he started to walk closer to his friend. "You're really not catching on, are you?" He laughed. Graham sat up in a sweat. "Damon........I'm just going to sleep downstairs." He said, walking past Damon, heading towards the door. Damon just lied down on his bed, keeping his smirk.
Graham pushed and pulled at the doorknob, but it wouldn't budge. "You having some trouble there? Like you need a key?" Damon said mockingly, he had locked the door. Graham turned around to go get the key from Damon, but he had a plan. He looked to see where Damon was holding the keys, and when he saw them he went into action. He flipped off the lights and ran towards Damon, with his hands out to grab the keys. But Damon had other plans. As Graham leaned over to grab the keys, Damon kicked his legs, making Graham fall over.......right on top of him.
Graham, obviously, got pretty flustered and tried to get up but Damon wrapped his arms around his waist. Damon just laughed a bit as Graham tried to cover his face as he felt it going red. "Pffh, someone's embarrased" Damon laughed another bit. Graham wanted to punch him in the stomach, but he was right. "So, do you have anything you want to say to me??" Damon's smirk was as wide as it could be.
No matter how much Graham tried to hide it, he did kind of like Damon. He did find girls attractive, even beautiful in some cases but he never liked a girl in that way. Or anyone to be honest. Except Damon, he was the only person Graham felt it for and he didn't really know how to deal with it.
Damon gave a little chuckle before turning over on his side with Graham. "Want to know something funny" He asked his friend, we was still trying tk cover his face. "What?" Graham replied. "I didn't actually invite Alex or Dave. I knew you wouldn't come if I didn't say they'd be here too." Damon let go of his waist an he got up and went downstairs. While he was gone, Graham tried to get himself together but at this point he just want to go to bed. He went under the covers and lied as close to wall as his could and shut his eyes as much as he could. He just wanted the day to be over.
It was only a few minutes until he felt the covers shuffle as Damon climbed into bed next to him. He put his arms back around Graham's waist. "Well then, Goodnight" Damon whispered into Graham's ear before giving it a light kiss and releasing Graham and turning around. Graham felt his face go crimson and pulled the covers closer to him. He just wanted the day to end. He didn't even think about the fact that he had to spend the rest of the weekend with him.
(A/N: I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this, also sorry for the bad ending :/)
