The Duels of Time
(Part One - Blow us All Away)Philip was done with college, surprisingly, and now he was on top of the world. He was a Hamilton, and he took all of his smarts from his father, even though they both felt on top of the world at nineteen.
Laurens remembered the day he first met Hamilton. He drunk as fuck on two pints of Sam Adams and was hanging around with Mulligan and Lafayette. And when you're drunk on two pints, you're going to tell yourself that someone is hot. And that's what he thought when he saw Hamilton.
But, away from that, he isn't drunk now and Philip is going full on flirt mode with getting information about George Eacker.
Now, take a step back and think. Philip's friend was just in duel with George a week ago. It probably wasn't a good idea to do a duel now, but it was Philip's choice.
"Hey there ladies!" Philip said, walking over to two ladies. They smiled and waved at him. "How are you two doing today?"
"We're doing fine, mister." One answered.
"How are you doing?" The other asked.
"I'm doing well." He smiled. "But, I have an important question to ask. Do you two have any clue on where Mister George Eacker might be? He said some things about my father, and I'm not letting that slide."
"I saw him headin' to Broadway a few minutes ago, he's goin' to see a play." The blue dress girl said, a southern accent hanging on with her voice.
"Ah, well I'll go visit his box. Thank you." Philip said, a smile on his face. He turned on his heels, walking away, when he heard the other girl speak.
"God, he's such a handsome young man." She said. Philip grinned slightly and continued walking. Laurens was confused by his actions, but he got what he needed.
-(insert that nice musical time skip thingy from the song... Yay.)-
Laurens didn't pay attention to what was going on. All he did was watch the play going on.
"Laurens, can you go through the wall to find which box is Eacker's?" Philip asked, snapping Laurens back to reality. "Please?"
"Sure thing!" Laurens said, starting to poke his head through the doors to see the people in the boxes. Once he found George, he stayed out and called for Philip.
Philip came up to the door, opening it and closing it silently. "George." He said, waiting for a response. "George!"
"Quiet, I'm trying to watch the show!" Eacker snapped, looking behind him at Philip.
"You should have watched your mouth before you talked about my father, though!" The shot fired back was harsh. Laurens was clear of thoughts.
This is going to go bad. The thought raced into his mind quickly.
"I said the truth, Philip. Your father is a scoundrel, and so it seems are you." The audience let out an "Ooo" as something happened in the play.
"Are you serious-"
"Yeah, I don't fool around. I'm not a little schoolyard kid-"
"We'll see you on the dueling ground!" Philip said, his voice slightly rising. "That is, unless you want to step outside and go now."
"I know where to find you, now go away, I'm watching the show." Eacker turned around, waiting for Philip to leave. Laurens was gone, he didn't want this to happen. Philip followed after him.
"I don't get it, he said all of those things but he won't do anything." Philip said, his jaw clamped shut.
"Well, you are dueling him in Jersey, right?" Philip nodded. "Well, you can just ask Hamilton for some pistols and advice. You can do it. I mean, I survived a few duels, so maybe you can to." Laurens gave Philip a smile, which was slightly returned. They made their way back to the Hamilton house, even if it would be the last time Philip or Laurens ever saw it.

Haha, one chapter left!!
I promise you, this isn't the last thing that will star a Hamilton character in it. I'm actually planning on posting a story about a boy who lives in Mount Vernon. It'll be great and very sad... Like this... Whoops...
Anyway, one more chapter, I'm so sorry to kill everyone's favorite Cinnamon Roll... But I have to... I'm gonna cry guys, don't worry.
A preview for my new book will be posted after the epilogue. I will also keep the DC photos just cause... Heh.
And, for those wondering, if you need a nice sequal to this (by popular demand), it shall become a thing. I already have an idea, too, but I'll write it if you want it. Anyway, have fun guys, and enjoy crying for three chapters straight.
