Chapter 16: Marked

                                    

                                          
Raven p.o.v 
                          
"Let's get you into the bath."
                          
Kaden says as he looks down at my tears stained face. I bet my eyes are red and puffy.
                          
"He's gone kaden."
                          
I tell him. My voice is horse from crying and screaming. 
                          
"I know and I called off the ceremony."
                          
He tells me and I sigh.
                          
"You didn't have to. You want this ceremony and I agreed to do it."
                          
I tell him and he smiles slightly.
                          
"I know but you mean more to me than some ceremony."
                          
He tells me and I sigh.
                          
"I want to do it. With you kaden. There was no need. Put it back on and we will do it tomorrow no matter what."
                          
I tell kaden as I take his hand in mine. He gives me a slight smile as he pulls me onto his lap.
                          
"You need a bath."
                          
He tells me once more as he carries me to the bathroom. He sets me on the counter as he starts the bath water. He gets it to a warm temperature and walks back over to me.
                          
"Do you want me with you or no?"
                          
He asks me and I smile as I begin to undress myself.
                          
"You can go, I'll be fine."
                          
I tell him and he looks at me weird.
                          
"Are you sure?"
                          
He asks and I nod.
                          
"Of course."
                          
I tell him and he pecks my lips and walks out. But kaden dosent know what I'm thinking. He dosent know what I'm going to do.
                          
I finished undressing myself and I hop into the bath. The water is warm and that's good.
                          
I slowly slide down till my head is just above the water. I close my eyes as sleep takes me away.
                          
Kaden P.O.V 
                          
It's been about a hour since I put her in the bath. I am laying on the bed playing candy crush on my phone. 
                          
'Something is wrong. Go check on our mate.'
                          
My wolf told me and I became confused for a second. But he seemed worried so I listened to him. 
                          
I walked into the bathroom to see raven asleep under the water. I dropped my phone and ran to her. I pulled her out of the tub and onto the floor.
                          
I put my ear to her mouth to listen for breaths. I heard nothing.
                          
I began doing chest compressions as I mind linked the pack doctor.
                          
'Lilly get your butt up here! Raven tried to kill herself and she isn't breathing!'
                          
I ordered her and I got a yes alpha in responce. I put my mouth on ravens and gave three big breaths to her. I went back to chest compressions 
                          
Lilly bursts through the door and runs up to raven. 
                          
"Flip her on her side."
                          
Lilly tells me and I do as told. When raven isn't okay I turn into a submissive baby.
                          
Lilly puts a stethoscope up to ravens back.
                          
"She's breathing. But she is unconscious. Alpha she needs to be marked or she might not wake up."
                          
Lilly tells me and I sigh.
                          
"Okay, then what?"
                          
I ask her and she smiles.
                          
"Then she will be rushed to the medical unit and will stay there. She will wake up if you mark her."
                          
She says and I nod. I begin to kiss ravens  neck and down to her shoulder. 
                          
I extend my canines and bite down into her skin. I groan in plusure as I do so. I pull away and kiss the mark I've made.
                          
It has two wolves looking at the moon and above that it has 'kaden' written in black and outlined with purple.
                          
I take my shirt off and pull it over raven. I can't believe she did this to herself. 
                          
"Good job alpha. Now let's carry her to the medical unit."
                          
Lilly says and I pick raven up and follow her to the hospital. When we get there I place raven in the bed and lilly hooks an ivy up to her arm. 
                          
I sit in a chair next to her bed. I hold her hand as I sit there. Brody, Josh, nicole, and mark all came in after they heard. Romen and adem came in soon after. 
                          
Romen was crying softly as she almost lost two siblings in one day. Nicole held ravens other hand as she almost lost a friend. Josh comforts nicole and adem does the same to Romen. Brody cries in the corner. Mark leaves the room and dosent return.
                          
I fall asleep after everyone else. Luke brought everyone pillows and blankets. Brody slept on the floor in the corner, Romen and adem slept under the desk, nicole and Josh laid on the floor next to the bed. I laid my head on the bed next to raven.
                          
The next day i woke up and raven was sitting there poking my face. 
                          
"Your awake!"
                          
I shout and everyone shoots up. They all smile as they see her awake. She touches her neck and gasps.
                          
Crap, well I'm dead.
                          
"KADEN PENDRAGON! YOU MARKED ME!?"
                          
She shouts and everyone flinches. Nothing is scarier than a mad luna. Nothing.
                          
"It was the only way to insure that you would wake up."
                          
I tell her and she sighs.
                          
"I'm going on a run and no one can stop me."
                          
She says as she rips the Ivy out of her arm. She shifts and runs through the hospital. I look out the window to see her run towards the forest.
                          
"We should go after her."
                          
Nicole says as Rome stands next to her.
                          
"Go on."
                          
I tell them and I watch as they run out of the hospital. They shift and run after raven. 
                          
But a howl fills our ears. And it's not a normal howl. No.
                          
This howl is a call for help. But what strikes me most about it is who it came from. It came from the girls.
