25 weeks = 5 months

Jase and I sat at the table at thanksgiving. The family had been wondering why we had been keeping a secret from them. Jase and I knew the gender and knew what we were going to name the baby.

The family was oblivious and had no idea that I was even pregnant. Jase had been feeding cattle and bulls for Mr. Dowagar now that it was colder. He was also helping my dad on Triple R with the horses.

Jase squeezed my hand letting me know that I could take the ultrasound picture to my dad. I took the picture out and set it next to my dad then kissed him on the cheek.

He picked it up looking at it. His eyes got big. He looked at me then Jase and back at me. Yes I'm twenty one, Jase is twenty four so what's the problem? We're married, we were when this child was conceived.

He kept looking between the both of us his mouth tempted to hit the floor. My aunt Hedli grabbed the picture from him. "Are you serious?" She asked excited. Then my uncle Colt got ahold of it. I thought he was going to blow a fuse! Instead he congratulated us. The picture was passed around amongst the adults and teens.

Tessi and Logan were expecting. Along with Cassi and Wyatt. They were closer to nine months than I was. Both weddings being in May. "Man. I feel old." Uncle Buck said. "Just wait until your last born has children." Zach said.

"What do you know you only had one?" Buck said. "Their childhood doesn't last forever. Soon a new generation of Rays will be taking over the ranch." Zach said. "Then we'll expand the ranch and make it bigger." Colt said.

"We've already got the place Rylin bought. And I'm sure Mr. Dowagar will intrust his stock and land to Jase. Tessi still has all that plow land. This ranch will keep growing until the Rays own most of Marshall, TX." Buck said. "Then the Edwards would be wishing they had became great friends with us." Colt said laughing.
