A young girl with wavy, brown hair sat in a meadow criss-crossed while she listened to the sounds of the wind and the shaking of a tree in the distance. She picked a Dandelion from the ground unknowingly and started picking off it's petals one by one while she stared at the beyond, watching the sun slowly sink in the horizon.
She felt a presence behind her and looked over her shoulder, a group of 5 girls appeared and they walked towards her. They all sat down and looked at her with somewhat seldom expressions.
"She's gonna find a way out right...?" A voice piped up in the utter silence, the girl looked up to see a wavy, brown-haired girl with glasses sitting across from her. Her hands fidgeted in her lap and a girl with messy blonde hair nudged her with her shoulder.
"I believe she will. She has determination, none like what we have!" She exclaimed, the girl gave her a light smile, but a girl with dirty-blonde hair and brown eyes with glasses gave them a unimpressed expression.
"What if she doesn't...? What if she dies like us and the creators sends her here? Does that mean we lost hope...?" She questioned, the silence enfolding them once more. The girl snorted, completely annoyed.
"Why exactly do you have to be a Debby-Downer, Whitney?" She asked, her tone sharp, Whitney raised her hands in defense.
"Well, one of us has to think of the negative sides. Besides, why do you even believe in Olivia, Jaylyn? Yeah, she's all of our friends, but why do you praise her like some Goddess that will free us from here? We're dead... And we'll probably stay that way forever." She muttered, Jaylyn looked down at her now yellow-stained fingers and she sighed.
"Because, she's a trigger to our hope." She raised her head up and spoke clearly to her, Whitney gave her a confused look before a girl with brown eyes and caramel hair stood up.
"She did seem like a trigger to something, I'm not sure if it was our imitate deaths, but when she came, everything went downhill very quickly," she said,"and if she was a hoping person, well I would support her all the way." Jaylyn nodded to the girl and she sat down.
We can't all believe in one person.
All of the girls heads shot up and whipped around to see the black figure once more. Whitney, Jaylyn, and the rest stood up, they all had disgusted looks on their faces... While the figure had a seldom expression, all was quiet as the wind still blew and the tree shook violently.
"Why exactly are you here, Amara?" Whitney growled, Amara shrugged.
I was just eavesdropping on your conversation, believing the Olivia was something towards greater things.
"And what if she is?" Jaylyn asked, a frown appearing on her face.
Let me tell you one thing straight. Olivia doesn't know squat except for, survive, don't die, and find freedom. For everyone.
"And? What does that have to do with anything...?" The girl with the caramel hair snorted, her hands now on her hips in a sassy motion.
It's all questions with you guys. Figures. Freedom comes at any prices necessary. Even death might come as an option. If she does die, don't expect to find belief in yourselves.
And with that, she disappeared... The girls looked at each other in worry and concern, before they sat down on the grass and flowers again, their expressions seemed to change in a matter of minutes.
"Well, one thing's for sure. Olivia is going to die... It seems pretty obvious considering Amara hinted it." Whitney sighed, covering her face with her hands, the rest sighed and growled under their breaths.
Jaylyn's face wrinkled and she looked at the rest,"She's just making us think that, when she dies, we won't have a chance... I don't believe her, nor should you... All we have to do, is silently cheer on for her and when the time comes... We'll be ready." The rest nodded in agreement and they smiled.
Whitney blinked slowly,"What about that group she's with? Tommy and the rest." Jaylyn shrugged.
"Well, honestly, I'm glad she found a group. It's better than being alone, and who knows what they'll do when she passes. Maybe press on like their old times." She sighed, seeing the sky now change to a reddish-orangish and dark blue color... The stars started showing up and she looked at the rest who noticed as well.
"Until next time." She waved, they all waved back and they slowly disappeared.
((LAN: WOW. Shortest Chapter of all Time. Then again it's like an important part to the whole book. Yes, Liv is gonna die, idk when though. So be somewhat prepared, lmao.))
