Anthony's POV
As everyone sat down to eat, Charlie ran over to sit with Ross and Cassandra. They were at the bridal table. Amy sat down at our table.
"Wine was the worst idea." Stephanie groaned, already feeling a headache about to start, as Amy opened another bottle up.
"Are you kidding? Wine is the best idea." She smiled pouring everyone another glass full. Some of Amy's relatives stood up and gave speeches about her father.
"You're not saying a speech?" I asked her. She shook her head.
"Dad didn't ask me to say one. It's alright though. I'd probably cry the whole way through. He was just saving my embarrassment." Amy smiled as she cut into her meal. Because she has a dietary requirement, she got fed earlier than us. After the speeches, all of our meals finally came out, the bouquet was thrown and the dance floor was opened.

"Come on, let's dance." Amy said pulling on my arm.
"One more drink." I said as Mario passed me another beer, saving my arse.
"You said that last time." Amy frowned and Stephanie got off her chair.
"Let's go dance." She said and pulled Amy onto the dance floor.
"At least one Ramos loves me." Amy said bitterly with a flick of her hair and skipped off. Obviously she was joking. Mario scooted over and laughed at me.
"What?"
"Dude. Just ask her."
"Ask her what?"
"Ask her to marry you."
"Shut up." I slapped him. Very childish of me, I know. "Not here."
"Honestly. Don't give me any excuses brother. So what if you've been together for only two years, you live together. You guys do everything together."
"Shut up." I said and skulled my beer.
"Anthony?" Charlie questioned as she skipped over.
"Yeah Lil C?" I asked and she smiled.
"You know how Daddy and Cassandra are going to a holiday because they're now married."
"Yeah." I asked raising an eyebrow. What is she about to ask? What they're gonna do? Oh shit. Why can't she ask Amy?
"Well, there's a Daddy-Daughter dance at my new school, and because Daddy is going to be away, can you take me?" She asked spinning her dress side for side anxiously. That's it? That's her question. I looked around. Couldn't see take an uncle or someone. I'm not exactly the greatest person to take.
"I-I don't know Charlie. I uhm-"
"Whatcha guys talking about?" Amy skipped over and getting down on eye level with Charlie. I could see that tears were about to form in her eyes. God, Amy looks like an angel, and I promised I would do anything for her.
"I was just about to tell Charlie that I'm very excited and thankful for inviting me to the dance at her school. I can't wait." I said and Charlie hugged me.
"Thank you Anthony. You're the best." She hugged me tightly.
"No worries C." I said and hugged her back. She let go and slipped off to find someone else. Amy got back up and smiled at me.
"Alright. I suppose one dance won't hurt."
"Thank you." She giggled leading me onto the dance floor. I placed my hands on her hips and Amy's hands found their way around my neck just as the DJ changed the song to something a bit slower.
"Thank you for your willingness to take Charlie to the school dance." Amy smiled proudly at me.
"No worries." I said and she raised an eyebrow.
"It was her idea. She came up to me beforehand and honestly, I thought you would say no." Amy said and I chuckled.
"Originally I was going to, but." I emphasised the bit, "she's you're sister."
"You just figured that out. Wow Anthony." She sarcastically giggled. I don't have a great way with words.
"What I mean is, she's family." A year formed in Amys eye. Amy was clearly taken aback.
"I'm speechless. That was cute Anthony." Amy smirked and I chuckled.
"Thank you." I said and kissed her lips and the DJ went back to playing some classics from the 90s.
"Eeww. Can you guys keep your hands off each other for like, one second." Phillipa laughed as she walked over, barefoot. She had given up on the idea of dancing in high heels at a wedding a long time ago.
"Wanna go outside and get some fresh air?" I asked Amy, glaring at Phillipa.
"Please. It's getting a bit stuffing in here." Amy begged pulling me outside. We sat on the steps outside. It was a really nice venue. The restaurant was next to a winery.
"Wanna go for a walk?" I suggested.
"My feet are getting sore." Amy groaned pulling off her high heels. "Can we stay here instead?"
"Of course baby girl." I said and kissed the top of her head. I whipped my head around my shoulder and watched Ross dance with Cassandra. I tried to picture myself in his shoes, and Amy in Cassandra's position. It was quite easy. I don't think I could deal with the pressure of being engaged. I'm 25. Amy is 24 soon. We are both way too young.
"Hey Anthony." Amy curiously asked, her eyes twinkling. "What's your favourite memory of ours." I thought of a moment as Amy looked at me. "And don't make it cheesy like the first time we did it-" I smirked "-I knew you were going to say that!" She slapped my arm.
"No. Actually, it was probably the day we adopted Miles." I told her truthfully. "I remembered how excited and you were hella cute. I pretty sure Hope had done your hair in braids or something. We had been shopping all day, and yeah, you were really excited to show me Miles. I love that about you. You're always excited and willing to help out." I told her truthfully. Her cheeks lit red and she put her hands in mine.
"God you're amazing." She giggled and kissed me passionately. It's the small things I remember. Like I said, the way she had her hair up that day.
"Hmm, my turn. My favourite was probably the day we spent driving from Dads place to pick Charlie up and you and her sang the whole way home."
"Oh yeah." I smiled. Okay. This is it. I'm going to do it.
"Hey Amy. I-I've been meaning to ask.." I trailed off stuttering.
"Y-yeah?" She looked at me hopefully. Okay Ramos. Grow some balls. Who cares if the ring isn't here, just do it. Ask her. My knees wouldn't move. They buckled and failed on me. Oh shit. Quick, okay looks like I'm not proposing today. Shit, uhm. Uhhh.
"Hey guys. We're gonna have some cake." Phillipa asked us, coming outside and skipped over to us.
"Sounds good." I smiled.
"W-was there-" Amy began to stutter. "Uhh never mind. Ask me later. Probably wasn't even that important that you forgot it." Amy said standing up and following Phillipa back inside. You're an idiot Anthony.
