"Just kill me Sehun... Just kill me..."

Tears flowed down Chaisee's cheeks without realising. Why didn't he kill me when he had the chance to? Chaisee wondered. His glare was still embedded in her mind as she curled up on the floor. She could still hear the words of the vampire and the distressed wail of Taekwoon as she stood there in horror.

"You knew this was going to happen!"
"You killed the love of my life!"
"You don't deserve happiness!"

Maybe I don't deserve them... He is right, I don't deserve happiness... Chaisee thought back to what Sehun had told her, "You deserve to live with the guilt of what you did!" Chaisee bit her lip to stop a cry as she drowned in her thoughts and despair.

"Miss?" Chaisee looked up to see Jia-li looking at her in concern. Chaisee turned away from Jia-li and kept quiet. She didn't want to see her best servant like this - broken and unsure.

"Just leave me alone Jia. Please..." Chaisee's voice cracked and Jia-li looked so heartbroken at the sight of her mistress. She sighed and nodded before leaving Chaisee to her thoughts.

A quiet, muffled sob left Chaisee as she thought about how close she was to losing Taekwoon, her only link to her parents who were killed by Sehun several weeks before he attempted to kill Taekwoon. The vemon had a different effect on Taekwoon - it turned him into a vampire - a creature that he hates.

Sanghyuk watched Hakyeon and Wonshik hold onto each other as if they would lose each other. Taekwoon leaned against Sanghyuk and the fox hybrid looked down and smiled softly, a contented growl rumbling in the back of his throat. Hongbin and Jaehwan looked at one another before Hongbin crawled towards Jaehwan. A small sniffle was heard and Taekwoon eyed the husky, a tear slipping down his pale cheek.

"I want to go home..." Wonshik sniffles and Hakyeon pulls him closer, "We'll find a way. We will..."

Chaisee had somehow cried herself to sleep as she woke up with a stiff neck. She sits up, her joints cracking at the movement. She winces a little at the shot of pain in her neck and groans a little.

Her gaze lands on the collage of photos of her time with Taekwoon as she feels tears well up in her eyes again.

Sanghyuk breathes a quiet sigh as he eyes the door where Chaisee has entered to give them food. He wondered if it was possible to escape through that door but a sound drags his eyes away from the door. He looks over to the bathroom door and sees a high window showing the outside world. The hybrid gently places Taekwoon's head on the ground and gets up, his eyes never leaving the window.

When he reaches the window, Sanghyuk wonders how he can reach it when he sees the bench below the window. Using his stealth, he quickly jumps onto the bench and grabs onto the window ledge for support. He gently opens the window and a gust of sea breeze blew into his face. He inhales the scent and pushes the window open further.

"Taekwoon, we have a way out."
