Amy's POV
I sat in Cassandra and Dad's place. We were getting ready for their wedding. I invited Steph and Anthony over to help me get ready. Steph was there to do my make up and Anthony was there as my support. I had my head down as I was texting dad. Steph was still working on my hair. Cassandra was over with Charlie and some of her other bridesmaids.
"Babe. Here." I gestured for Anthony to come over so I could fix his tie. "Better?" I patterned down his blazer.
"Better." He said and went to kiss me but Steph slapped him.
"No. You have to wait. Can't you see she isn't ready yet?"
"Sorry Steph." Anthony rolled his eyes and sat down again.

Everyone but Cassandra and her Maid of Honour had arrived at the church where my father and her were about to be wed. I found my uncle, who was going to be Dads Best Man - once again.
"Can I go see him?" I asked uncle Harry.
"Yep. Right this way." He lead me to a room behind the church. He opened the door and I spotted Dad looking at himself in the mirror. He turned around when he saw my reflection.
"Wow. Look at you." He smiled and put his arms around. I walked up to him and gave him a hug. Don't get emotional. Don't get emotional.
"Dad. I just." I paused. "I just can't believe it." I smiled at him.
"I know." He smirked and I giggled. "I got you something." He said walking over to a table where his cuff links lay.
"Dad it's your wedding. You didn't have-"
"Shhh. That's exactly why I got you something. It isn't anything much." He said passing me a small pink box. I untied the ribbon and opened up the small box. Inside lay two pink and gold earrings.
"Dad-"
"They were your mother's. She wore them when she married me. I want you to have them." He smiled at him and I embraced him in one more thankfully hug. Words couldn't describe what I was feeling.
"Thank you." I mouthed.
"Don't cry. Do not cry. Because if cry, I'm going to cry." Dad laughed and I nodded.
"Ross. You ready?" Uncle Harry called from the other side of the door.
"One second." He shouted back and I looked at him. Dad helped me put the earrings on and we looked at each other one more.
"This is it Dad. No turning back." He laughed at me. "Wh-what?" I asked him.
"You look just like your mother on our wedding night." He smiled kissing my forehead once more. I smiled as Harry came in.
"Brother. You ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be."

"Guys. Get together." Steph ushered the two of us together. She pulled out Anthony's phone and frowned. "At least smile." She rolled her eyes.
"Yeah. Come on freckles. Smile." I giggled tickling under his chin and then placing my hand on his cheek to caress it.
"Why do you have to sit on the bridal table?"
"Because I'm part of the bridal party." I giggled.
"Too bad. I wish I was sitting next to you instead." He smirked. We both forgot Stephanie was taking photos of the two of us outside the church.
"That's adorable. Look at that." Steph grinned showing us the photos on Anthony's phone.
"Now I want one with Amy." Stephanie pushed her younger brother out of the way. I laughed at her. I held the bouquet of flowers in front of my dress and Steph kissed my cheek as we posed.
"Alright. It's on." She said as she got her phone back.
"Wh-what's one?" I asked her confused.
"Who can think of a better instagram caption."
"Ohmygod. Seriously?" I shrugged at their sibling rivalry. I looked at my phone and saw their posts.

"Hey. I don't have that much of a New Zealand accent." I rolled my eyes at Steph.
"Ah ha. Keep telling yourself that honey." She said. Her and Anthony were so unlike. From their features to their personalities.

We headed to the reception shortly after the all photos were taken. Cassie wanted to get some photos done in Central Park - that's very New York-ian of her. Although by the end of the photo opportunities, my feet were getting sore and really tired.
"Amy. When do we stop taking photos?" Charlie frowned as she sat on the edge of the fountain.
"In a couple of minutes sweetie." I smiled caressing her cheek with my hand. 'Click'. These photographers are grabbing every single moment.
"I'm getting hungry. What's for dinner?"
"I don't know Charlie." I said sitting next to her and began to tie up her shoe lace which had untied itself.
"I think you might be having chicken nuggets."
"Yummy!!!" Charlie gleaned excitedly. She jumped off the fountain and spun around numerous times. "I can't wait to get married." She squealed. She's a bit to young to be thinking about having kids. Charlie and I decided to head to the restaurant early.

It was comforting to know that my Dad had finally 'settled down'. Sure this was both their second marriages, but I actually think it was good for both of them, psychologically and mentally good for them, also, it was a security blanket for Cassandra to have a male in the house to help her look after three boys. Dad loved her sons like they're his own. We arrived at the fancy restaurant. We were all given champagne on arrival. This is so fancy. It's odd that I didn't organise it, but I'm kinda glad I didn't have any input into this wedding. I just get to sit back, relax and enjoy it.
"Ooo table 7." Steph said looking at the table board.
"You already knew that."
"Yeah but know I get to know who else were sitting with." Steph butted at her older brother.
"Stop bickering." Ma Ramos flicked them both. "Behave yourselves." I smiled at Anthony as he was fixing his hair.
"When does your Dad and Cassie arrive?" Anthony asked as I sipped on more champagne.
"I think in twenty minutes." I said as another family came up to me. She was Dad's cousin, but I always referred to her as Aunty.
"Amy. You look gorgeous." She said placing her hands on my shoulders.
"Thanks Aunty."
"Your mother would be so proud of you. You're all so grown up."
"Thanks." I said looking to the ground.
"Well, I'll see you inside." She waved walking off. Anthony came over and put my hands in his.
"She's right. Your mother would be extremely proud of you."
"B-but-" I tried to cut him off. He never even met her, how would he know?
"Amy. Your father had found love with someone else. I know you know that. That's why we're here. To celebrate that." Anthony smiled kissing the top of my head.
"Thank you. How is it you always know the right thing to say?" I asked him raising an eyebrow.
"Because I hang around with you too much."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"Ohmygod guys." Phillipa groaned as she came over with more champagne glasses. "I've never seen you guys use so much PDA, it's weird." She laughed passing me another glass of champagne. I clinked my drink with hers, Mrs Soo and Ma Ramos'.
"This is gonna be you soon." Anthony nudged Steven with his elbow.
