We took your letter to Dana.  When we got there she was her usually happy self, but it didn’t last long because she noticed you weren’t there with us, and that I had been crying. She asked us where you were, but I couldn’t tell her. Nate handed her your letter and told her. Thank god he was there. I don’t know what you wrote in that letter Lea but you really got to her. 
                          

                          
First she got really mad, so mad she was close to shifting, and then she suddenly started crying. We were with her and talked with her for a while to make sure she was okay before we headed home.
                          

                          
Louis came by Dana’s and followed us home. He wanted to see if you were gone, and to make sure we were okay with him coming by to read your letters and get updates. He didn’t say it, but I can see that he as well is sad because you left. 
                          

                          
He said that when ‘the ass hole that my not be named’ finds out you are gone and are coming to us to ask about you we shall mind link and tell him at once. I don’t get why but I promised him I would do it. 
                          

                          
But, other than missing you like crazy, that we are good. I have put all the pictures of us in frames and put them up on our walls around the home. We hope to hear from you soon

There is a document attached, and I open it and see a photo of Maggie, Nate, Dana and Louis together.  Maggie in the middle holding a big card that said: ‘We’ll see you soon.’
                          

                          
I just sit there and look at the photo smiling. It is going to be hard being away from them.  Finally, I look up about to close the computer, when I notice Lizzie s looking at me.

 “What are you smiling about? It has to be something good for you to smile like that.” She asks, grinning to me.
                          

                          
“It’s my family. They sent me a photo, you can see if you want.” I say and she gets up to look over at my photo. 
                          

                          
“How sweet. Who is who?” She asks quickly, looking at me before looking back at the picture again.
                          

                          
“Well, the one in the middle is Maggie and the boy who has his arms around her is Nate. They are my two best friends, and I have known them since I was fifteen. Six weeks ago they discovered they were mates. The woman beside Maggie is Dana. I have lived with her since I was fifteen, and she makes the best cakes in the whole wide world. The older man on the other side of Maggie is Louis. He is like a father to me. I use to walk with him once a week and talk with him about everything. He loves to give his wisdom to me, but yeah they are my family,” I say looking away. I don’t know why I told her so much about them. I don’t usually talk about my life, to strangers or anybody.
                          

                          
“Wait you don’t have a father? The alpha told me about you.  He says that you would join our pack for a while because you had some personal issues, but you don’t have a family? I mean a biological family? You know if you ever need it you can talk to me." She says, giving me a small warm smile.
