They arrived to England and began to make a temporary camp. "You'll be staying in the camp?" Hvitserk asked.

"Hvitserk I will be there." Katla said "You all want to know where Ragnar died. You may need my help when he doesn't give it up right away."

"Katla no." Hvitserk said holding her hips.

"Hvitserk she will be joining us." Bjorn said

"But not fighting." Ubbe added. "I've seen your skills since you have returned Katla, but you are not ready for this kind of combat."

"I shall stay safe." Katla said looking to Hvitserk.

"I shall stay with you." Hvitserk said

"No, avenge your father. I will be alright." Katla said giving him a small kiss.

War paint on, weapons ready, the army was walked to battle. Katla stayed with the sons of Ragnar. The King of Northumbria's army was large but not even close to a number of men the Vikings had.

"Stay here." Hvitserk told Katla once more before the men began to roar.

"Kill some Saxons" Katla yelled as the men charged. The army past around her and clashed with the enemy. The battle was over soon and Bjorn had the king and was dragging him to Katla who interrogated him with her blade.

Ivar dragged the king to where he told Katla Ragnar's body was. Ubbe untied the man and Bjorn yelled at him to show where Ragnar died. The king led them to a pit in the ground.

"This is where our father died?" Ivar said.

"How the little pigs will grunt when they hear how the old boar suffered." Bjorn said

"How much gold and silver do they want to spare my life?" The king asked Katla. The sons of Ragnar laughed in his face knowing what he asked.

"Name your price. Anything, anything!" The king continued.

"You are mistaken if you think my father is worth gold and silver. That is not the price you must pay." Ivar spat.

Then Floki took the man and said "I heard your god is a carpenter, so am I."

That night Floki nailed the king to wooden posts then Bjorn began to blood eagle him. Opening the skin down his back, then with an axe cutting his ribs away and finally pushing his lungs up under the skin of his shoulders for wings. Katla watched Ubbe Hvitserk and Sigurd smiled as the king screamed and Ivar look into his eyes as he died.

When the sun rose in the morning Katla watched them hoisted the king's bloodeagled body up into the trees.
